anyone have experience with this? i'm planning to go in feb & march of 2011 and i'd like to do some volunteering for about half of that time. what i've found interesting and somewhat puzzling is that many [read=all] of the opportunities i've come across so far have been quite pricey! i'm all ears if anyone's got a good lead for me!

it's on preston, a bit north of gladstone, west side of the street. tonight we re-commented about how great the meal was. goooood times.

anyone been here? went here last night and it was awesome! we had oysters and calamari to start. then, i had broiled jumbo shrimp with veg on dirty rice with a garlic butter sauce. roommate number one [bruce] had blackened catfish with shrimp & crawfish etouffee with dirty rice and veg, and roommate number two [sarah] had mahi mahi [i forget how they cooked it]. it was all deeeeeeeelicious. a nice ripasso to drink which was a bargain at $36. the steak menu looked really good too. recommended!

i'm not a huuuge fan of christmas music, but my folks have a 'big band' xmas that i kinda like. the rudolph is pretty fun.

i have to beg to differ, AD. i have never been to quinn's so i can't comment on that, but i have had burgers at chez lucien [diego & frida was the last one i think] and for me - i definitely prefer hintonburger. that said, i LOVE chez lucien.

made it here on friday and had the hintonburger w/bacon, cheese and BBQ sauce. it was a super delicious burger!!
