  1. Miss this man and my annual fall runs of following the CRB around so so much. Some of the best most transcendent times of my life without a word of exaggeration.

  4. RIP Toots πŸ’“ This one is hitting me today. The end of an era. The old guard of roots reggae is moving on....i hope that can only amount to a release of positive energy to be taken up in this world as it's needed. I want you to know that I am the man Who fight for the right, not for the wrong Going there, I'm growing there Helping the weak against the strong Soon you will find out the man I'm supposed to be

  13. Without federal aid more than a 1000 US music venues are in danger of closing πŸ˜•. https://www.rollingstone.com/pro/news/independent-venues-danger-closing-covid-niva-995044/?fbclid=IwAR25KBqgemXRBmtnvsrK9dNLqTux7GWF4sL9GCja177PlO21NcFLYawXe0M Let there be songs to fill the air....
  14. This is a shame to hear.... Anyone think musical gatherings of any real size (i.e. club/theatre gigs, etc.) going to get an approval in coming months? I am fully expecting any of the remaining shows that I have booked for the summer to be cancelled....trying to hold out hope for something
  15. Here's a nod worth checking out. New Kofi Burbridge documentary: https://liveforlivemusic.com/news/kofi-burbridge-documentary-lest-we-forget/?fbclid=IwAR3eq4f38QyB-TpB0ZeiGkWF29Bk8s_k0kW8Jpe4GJWbaUrFRtStHI0G-bE

  18. RIP Adam Schlesinger....I do not resonate as personally with Adam, but I do know he was far too young, and from what I can tell had no underlying conditions.... https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/fountains-of-waynes-adam-schlesinger-dead-obituary-coronavirus-975786/
  19. Love and light to John Prine....I hope that they are able to keep him in stable condition on a respirator long enough for his body to rest as much as possible with the hopes that his immune system will pull through. I'm no medical doctor....but I do know from personal experience that "stable" is still very touch and go territory. Wishing John and his family strength and grit.... https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/john-prine-stable-hospitalization-975436/
  20. Just thought it might be worth channeling some energy towards the musicians who inspire us who are fighting for their recovery or who have lost that battle. Recognition, acknowledgement, whatever seems fit I suppose. I hope the extent of the impact somehow remains minimal.... RIP Ellis Marsalis, New Orleans Jazz Piano Legend, (father of Branford and Wynton) https://www.nola.com/entertainment_life/music/article_bbdaf4c4-7481-11ea-92ae-1758b23c65c8.html?fbclid=IwAR1DkKnn0VXAGl7RFJm5uxn2VcvG_Mh1TJgKFPoKny9MKQvh1NWY92gfjhQ
