Hey. I no longer have the original SHN files I posted 19 years ago, but I do have the original WAVs those SHNs were converted to. I've converted them to FLAC, added a new text with updated tracking and whatever other info I still had on the show from my defunct trade list and rar'd it up.
link to d/l removed.

This is a review of the show:
Superlatives won’t sufficiently convey the level of intensity,
emotion, dexterity & proficiency that was on display tonight
… and not only by the musicians. Our TM/FOH (Larry) mix could
not have been better … our stage manager chief tech (Delacey)
could not have been better. Everyone was beaming as they came
off the stage & the audience levitated out of the theater …
they’ll never be the same.
What Bobby did to ‘Terrapin‘ on the banjo
was beyond belief. Al’s tone & rhythmic offsets were astonishing.
Pete worked his sticks like he was driving a 16 wheeler to Neptune
… & Steve? He took us to The Happy Place … -

Happy 30th guys. Blow the roof the place the tonight. Thanks for all the great music, amazing shows and such fun times. Impossible to truly articulate what it all means to me. My only regret is I cannot recall the name of the crazy little dreaded headed girl I followed to Dundas and ended up in a place whose name escapes me - The Box or something like that. It was late into 2nd set, but man it was great. (91 or 92 perhaps?). I also have really fond memories of the sweaty (really sweaty) and packed shows in Ancaster at the Coach & Lantern, my god were they fun.
I really freakin hope there's a damn taper there! Thanks for all the memories, music and good times. On 12/22/2022 at 10:23 AM, edger said:Wishing you health, healing and resiliency through your surgery Greg. So sorry to hear that you won't be able to join us. Your spirit and foundational presence in this whole scene will surely be there. Shore up my friend
Many thanks for the kind words & wishes S. Everything seems to have gone well, starting to feel a bit better tonight, though was/am in no shape or form to attend.

See you on Boxing day?
Unfortunately its not looking good due to surgery on 23rd. Would love to though.

Haven't got a ticket yet, but I'm hoping to be able to make it, gonna be a fun night. Unfortunately, I have day surgery scheduled for the 23rd so I'm prepared to be disappointed (pre-op interview didn't think I'll be in shape to go). Hoping that if I can't make it I'll still be able to get one or two of the shirts though.
30 years...geeze. Certainly doesn't feel like it.

The iconoclast shares his thoughts on creativity, how technology might represent the end of civilization and why he thanked ‘the crew of Dunkin’ Donuts’ in his latest book
IN HIS 81 YEARS, Bob Dylan has seemingly lived 100 lives. He conquered the world in the 1960s as a singer-songwriter who defied convention, going on to sell millions of records. He’s earned countless awards, including 10 Grammys, an Oscar, although he didn’t even attend the ceremony to accept it, and even the 2016 Nobel Prize in Literature. And music is only part of his story; Mr. Dylan has also become known among fans and collectors as an accomplished painter, and his 2004 book “Chronicles, Volume One,” an international bestseller, won the National Book Award.
Last month, he added a second book to the catalog. “The Philosophy of Modern Song” (Simon & Schuster) reads both as meditation and fever dream; it is a history lesson about (mostly) songs from the mid-20th Century, but also a rare glimpse into the fertile mind of one of the most creative people of the modern era.
In a lengthy interview, Mr. Dylan ruminated on the explosion of technology and culture during the mid-20th century, when he was young, life in the TikTok age, his lockdown experience and songwriting.

On this date in 1986, the Grateful Dead held their first show back after a diabetic coma nearly killed Garcia.
https://www.jambase.com/article/grateful-dead-returns-jerry-garcia-diabetic-coma-date-1986
QuoteOn July 10, 1986 Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia lapsed into a diabetic coma that nearly killed him. The band’s upcoming shows were canceled as Garcia spent weeks and months recovering with help from old friend Merl Saunders. While Garcia played a number of Jerry Garcia Band shows in Fall 1986, the Grateful Dead finally returned to the stage on December 15, 1986, to begin a series of three performances at the Oakland Coliseum Arena.
Scribe Blair Jackson described Merl’s role in getting Jerry back into shape for a Dead.net article:
"When Jerry nearly died in the summer of 1986 after slipping into a diabetic coma, it was Merl more than anyone else, who literally sat by Jerry’s side and helped him regain his musical gifts—which had become scrambled and elusive following the coma—by patiently re-teaching him the fundamentals, rebuilding his skills a little at a time. And even before he was ready to attempt to play, Merl helped him get some of his strength back: “I’d take him for a walk. We’d take 10 steps, then take 10 steps back. His attitude was great. He wanted to get better, but he was scared, too. He got tired very easily, but he never really got discouraged. The most he’d say would be, ‘Oh man, this is harder than it looks!’”
Once Garcia picked up a guitar, “It came back very slowly,” Merl said. “He had to learn chords all over again and he had a lot of trouble remembering how to do even the simplest stuff. And I didn’t want to push him. ‘Man, I’m tired.’ He’d been playing for five minutes. ‘OK, that’s fine. Put it down. Let’s go for a walk.’ And we’d do that for a few minutes until he’d get tired. We’d talk about music. I’d tell him about songs I was working on and that would get his mind going. We’d talk in musical terms. And slowly he started to get his strength back. But it sometimes took an hour or two for him to get even a simple chord down. Then, as we got farther into it, some things started to come back to him a little, but it took a lot of work. The first song he wanted to learn again was ‘My Funny Valentine.’”
