Agreed. I haven't read that one since the late 80's, I should give it another go. On the topic of the Doors, another book I read in highschool called "Burn Down The Night" by Craig Kee Strete was pretty entertaining, although fictional. Tells a story of what his life may have been like hanging out with Jim Morrison. Its no longer in print and sorta rare to find now-a-days, aside from places like ebay. I wish I had hung onto my copy now.

Radio Margaritaville is a good choice, although you don't have the option of picking a specific show. They do play an hour (at noon) each day of nothing but JB, as well air the concerts (live - check tour sched.) and offer replays of the concerts. I remember while working at Bruce Nuclear years back that there was a proposal to have some turbines actually out in Lake Huron on sand bars I believe (I could be mistaken), but I can't remember if it was just talk or if it was turned down by local residents or somthing. I assume its the Huron Winds who were proposing it, but don't remember the specifics. I've had my name down on the list at my union hall since around 99 to get on one of these projects but I haven't reached the hiring postions yet. I'd love to get on one eventually.
