  1. Thats why I like to troll southern Florida fishing boards.
  2. Yes thank you for mentioning it Sara, I had a hard time this morning not posting anything about it. Although its a ways away to commit right now, I am really gonna try to make it for the friday, if not both nights.
  3. I don't have a MAC, but I'm pretty sure they are not working on a MAC OS X version. On the utorrent site (mentioned here) they mention something about being able to run utorrent under Wine or Cedega. But I wouldn't have a clue if its an easy task or not. On one of the private websites I sorta help on (bt moderator & helper) I have read many MAC users giving big props to Transmission bit torrent client which I have only done minimal reading on, but it appears to use about the same amount of resources as utorrent, and way less then Azureus. Sorry I can't help much on this, I'll do some asking though with the mods who take care of the MAC side of things.
  4. I had the same issues and I was never able to figure it out either, I know that Azureus uses alot of resources & memory causing speed loss though. I switched to utorrent last may. It works alot like Azureus but is way smaller, uses almost no resources or memory and my speeds have increased greatly.
  5. Well, I don't care if it rains or freezes...
  6. Jambands.com asked: What do you remember most about 2006? http://www.jambands.com/Features/content_2006_12_08.00.phtml
  7. Awesome news! I was on my 7 week camping trip last time they rolled through town & missed it. No regrets though. The 16th of Feb. is also my little brothers birthday, all the more reason to party. Nice job once again Brian. Looking forward to it.
  8. Happy birthday Karen. I miss running into you, its been way too long.
  9. Should have jumped on while it was hot I guess. I'm now out of commission until I get my other computer this is on repaired so I can't help out unfortunately.
  10. Watching this right now. Awesome stuff. Thanks for recording & seeding this Jake.
  11. Great recording, I had a VCD of this show which got included in an audio trade a few years back. Been searching for a DVD upgrade ever since...worth the download thats for sure. Yes sir it is, although it's a Lowell song that Palmer covered on his album, which Lowell backed by the Meters played on. Sam Bush plays one smoking version of it to on his album 'Ice Caps'. This version is just as amazing in my opinion.

  13. A member on another board I frequent, posted this update about his website brentmydland.net and knowing that JGB shows are sometimes harder to find for some then others, I figured folks here may be interested. Sadly, you can only download tracks one at a time. But bookmark this link & chip away at it I guess. If you access this through the website link above, check under "Other bands" to get to the files. But here's the direct link to all 56 shows. 56 Jerry Shows (mp3)
  14. Yep, I'll be at the Hamilton show. I'll help seed, no problem. Thanks. With these Canadian bands getting seeded, I'll probally get to seeding the Fat Cats DVD soon, once I get the correct source info from the guy who made it. Would you want a copy of that one in return for the nero?
  15. dbpoweramp will do the trick in one step: FLAC > WMA. Now that I answered this, I get the feeling you don't really need to know that.
  16. Cool thanks Matt, I have a 6mb/512Kbps connection but I had to throttle alot of my down speed with this torrent, I have 9 torrents seeding right now and 4 downloading (not counting BNB), three of which will finish in the next hour though. With you doing this at work, I should be able to finish this show tonight and help seed also.
  17. I do the same thing CH, I forward three emails to one gmail account. I only have to remember to not reply using the email they get forwarded to, unless its a friend. Gmail works pretty well with spam, I don't get any on two of my emails, only my music trading email gets spammed. Luckily.
