Just set it up and there is an HD section. Pretty simple set up process, although you do need to provide a credit card number or paypal account to set the trial up - part of the agreement is they will start charging right after your trial ends, so if your not looking to pay for the service just cancel your trial the day it's supposed to expire. Most of the private torrent sites I'm on my ratio averages is about 6:1 (some sites less, some sites more) so that's not an issue. I just don't have any need to keep TV shows or movies after I watch them so streaming is my choice. As long as it streams clean.

I imagine a lot will be limited knowing how the CRTC carries on. Still I'm interested in what they will offer. Thankfully, my bandwidth usage doesn't seem to be monitored or restricted with my ISP (local only cable company FTW) so far this month I've downed near 135gb and last month I broke the 150gb mark again.. never had as much as a warning in the 8 years with these guys. I've been listening to this for a couple days now after seeing it pop up on my feed from NPR (they have the whole album available for streaming until Oct. 5.) Sounding really good. No surprise though. Looking forward to picking this up.

Feb 2001 or 02 I joined, on my other account (love to see this one merged with that one now that it works again ), although it shows 2004 as the join date due to a database error where mine and some others disappeared, if I remember correctly. I'll edit this to add more thoughts when I have the time, but for now I just want to say thanks Mike for everything you do keeping this place going, I've met so many great folks through this place - the majority of which I may have only bumped shoulders with at a show otherwise. Re: Head contact. I'm sort of on the fence about the "no minor penalty" part. I fully agree with the part about the head being targeted, purposely and/or blindsided. But, I feel there should be room for discretionary calls. (eg: minor penalties). For example, if the puck carrier lowers his stance in hopes of avoiding a clean, shoulder-to-shoulder check and in turn the principal point of contact ends up being the head. This can easily occur when you have a shorter player being hit by a taller player, especially along the boards. Other then that, I see nothing wrong with those rules.

But for the truly adventurous, check bt.etree for the "Grateful Dead 1977 Project" (#1-10) and "Grateful Dead 1978 Project" (#1-11). Be warned though, these FLAC torrents are big, averaging about 12-16GB per torrent. - 77 project weighs in about 130GB overall (#1-10) - 78 project weighs in about 300GB overall (#1-11) :dazed:
