  1. Ahh yes, I love these gigs. Guess I'll see some of ya there.
  2. Love Like This - DBT I've posted this a few times before, but in case you didn't get it here's the words and chords (easy tab) for every Dylan album - up to Modern Times anyway. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=200UKHR4 I also grab some stuff (DBT/Gourds) from here >> http://www.countrytabs.com/ Best bet is create an account. To copy the text without printing, just high-light the text, and hit Ctrl > C.
  3. Coincidentally, I had the same experience with most of his albums. :chug:

    Treme

Enjoyed the first season, one of the few shows I was d/l'n faithfully each week on sunday nights.
  5. Personally, I like Phil. He really blew me away at times, especially during some of those space jams I've listened to throughout the years, either live or recorded.
  6. No official word on the bands website yet, and it doesn't seem to have made the news but after reading the bands Facebook page and reading Richie's nephew's comments it appears Richie has passed on. RIP. ZwFNUPPJJnQ
  7. I don't think they are. But then again, Phish was never a big deal to me although I do like them. I think perspective plays a part. No rose coloured glasses, mine broke at a Dylan show in the mid 90s.
  8. Perhaps you have it disabled for this site or maybe it needs updated? When you set it up did you take one of the suggested ad-list subscriptions or did you skip them and choose to add the sites manually? I ran it the first time without taking one of their suggested lists, and found the banners and ads were showing, and that adding them manually wasn't for me. But after a re-install I took one of the two english lists (Fanboy's List) and all the ads disappeared, even the google ad between threads/posts. Other then that I dunno. [edit] I wasn't using it for this site but as Velvet mentioned that one banner did cover up some tab options at the top. I originally thought it was my screen, but it did it even after I upgraded to a wider one. So I enabled adblock for this site. The banners never bothered me and I never got a pop-up but I got tired of clicking the banner when trying to use a tab.
  9. Great night friday, missed Stumbleweed, but Richie, Buckwheat & Dr' John were fun. Saturday was a different scene that's for sure. Lee Harvey Osmond was great, but I wasn't much into the rest - The Respectables, or Coney Hatch (wasn't really a big fan back in the day either). Didn't stick around for Downie though - had my fill of the park by then and went and drank some beers at a buddies place. Good weekend of music though, price was right anyway.
  10. Pencil tip micro sculptures - by Dalton Ghetti
  11. Finally picked this up over the weekend. I've waited years for them to do an album like this. Acoustic glory.
  12. Don't know if this is the original, but after reading it yesterday and some checking I found this site. The part about KOL is closer to the bottom of the page. Patterson Hood's Tour Diary: Part 3 http://flagpole.com/Weekly/Homedrone/PattersonHoodsTourDiaryParty3-4Aug10
  13. If you check the link I posted above, they also have a list of GD references in movies (Footloose is on there) and where members have made appearances.

    Tumbleweed

We didn't need a Bruins thread. But thanks anyway.

  16. I don't remember hearing Uncle John's, but I also don't remember the movie all that well. But if it was, then there were two songs. Although Ripple was the only one on the soundtrack. Movies that include songs by the Dead or members of the Dead Although not movies... Ripple was also in the mini series Taken (soundtrack) Because I just seen this episode recently, I know Ripple made an appearance in My Name Is Earl (song list)

    BEER!!

Is that IPA available through the beer store POG? I'm also a IPA fan. Last one I had that I sort of enjoyed (and hadn't heard of before) was from The Great Lakes Brewing company called "My Bitter Wife" IPA. A friend brought a half-dozen to our poker night two weeks back and gave me one. Has anyone gave that one a try?
  18. Haha - no doubt. I can see the bassist taking a break for a song, maybe even two songs to get the shit out of his mouth and shake it off, but the whole band calls the show? Indeed what a bunch of pussies. By the way, was this a twitter comment?
