  15. much thanks to OP for the link! this site is highlarious. trawling thru i found this messed up gem: (314): U should come over 2nite (1-314): $$$$ (314): R u crazy I am offended (1-314): We totally had this conversation already (314): Ur totally a homosexual or either delusional (1-314): Neither, well maybe the 2nd one a little but def not gay. Plus, you agreed last night (314): First of all that wasn't last night and secondly I never agreed (1-314): Yeah you did (314): No I told u were crazy and to shut up about it cuz its not happening. Xanax clouds the memory (1-314): No sex then. (314): Y would you act like that esp after u really hurt my feelings by insulting me the last time I saw you (1-314): Sorry for hurting your feelings, but you did agree. You even gave me 5 bucks to seal the agreement (314): Yeah I gave u 5 bucks to bribe u into doin it right then doesn't mean I agreed to pay u from then on (314): I cannot even believe we are having this conversation, r u crazy? (314): Soo when r u gonna come over? (1-314): $$$$$ (314): How do u figure I shud pay you for something u enjoy doing to? Im waiting to hear your rational answer (1-314): Because people search a lifetime to get paid for what they love doing, especially when they are good at it. I… (1-314): Im really good at making you orgasm, so why not get paid like al other professionals that are being paid good (1-314): Did I mention doctors, lawyers, and oh yeah NURSEs (314): U have an orgasm too did u forget (314): Ur crazy (1-314): I make you have multiple, and secondly the reciprocation of pleasure does not negate payment (1-314): You always say how you don't have to worry about money, due to your dad. Why is such a big deal (314): Cuz it makes me feel lowwwww (1-314): All lot of things people low. Don't do it if you don't feel its right and its immoral (314): R u fucking serious (314): Give me the dick nowwwww W...T....F...!
  16. from MrMiners site...http://phishthoughts.com/ some pretty cool reading about this epic! run of shows at the Warfield is found about half-way down the page... the pertinent quote though would be: "Over the next three days I will be featuring 24-channel multitracked SBDs of these epic evenings at The Warfield. These are some of the most pristine recordings you’ll ever hear of three truly poignant and powerful evenings of music. " night one: http://downloadsoftheday.s3.amazonaws.com/4.15.1999%20SBD.rar?torrent night two: http://downloadsoftheday.s3.amazonaws.com/4.16.1999%20SBD.rar?torrent night three: http://downloadsoftheday.s3.amazonaws.com/4.17.1999%20SBD.rar?torrent if you don't have these you definitely should!!! ENJOY! (edit to add:)they ARE mp3 file's though for all you flac. shn. snobs out there...tell me the Hampton reunion run mp3's don't sound epic though!
  17. haven't seen this show yet, but i'm very intrigued...noticed that there seem to be 3 episodes on dimeadozen. unfortunately, 1) i don't have an account there..2) the Police is not one of the 3 episodes listed! the smokey robinson episode could be pretty sweet though...
  18. make sure you approach Byron through Nimbin for your heady party supplies.i was sorted MOST kindly by the gentlemen at the Hemp Museum there. also be aware travel in/out of Byron on the Easter (bluesfest) weekend can be a bit of a parking lot. the bluesfest is VERY well attended and you prolly want to be in town and situated by the thursday latest. as far as accomodations alot of people swear by Arts Factory for its funky accomodations, i stayed at the backpackers inn which is the closest (only?) YHA with beach access... Byron Bay at night on the beach is magic! with the lighthouse and the surf? fuggedaboutit! hope you have fun! color me [color:green]extremely jelious!
  19. i was wondering if anyone happened to know the location of a track-seperated mp3 version of the 3rd and final show at Hampton? i've had no problem locating these shows track seperated for the first two shows, but the third seems elusive....can anyone help? i have a pretty crammed iPod and don't want to have to make some difficult 'content' decisions just because i have to load a .flac version.. ..besides the mp3's of these shows sound amazing so i don't even feel guilty...lol anyway any help much appreciated.. edit to add: (any links for video other then the first night would be KILLER too!) :susel:
  20. mel...a true ktown Legend ...RIP
  21. thank you for your attention to this problem bouche. it seems to be working great now. i still think it's time for another FUNd raiser...just for the FUN!
  22. not trying to be a complainer, but it seems that the originally stated problem is becoming an issue again(for me). again, not sure if it's just me but all the flash in the banner ads are making the site very difficult (read:slow) to navigate. i'm not sure what to do...i know it costs $$$ to keep the site up and running, and i wish to support it but the slowness/freezing is making the site very frustrating for me. i will install ad block for now but i'm hoping there might be another solution so i can keep supporting the site. time for another benefit show! i'd pay extra at the door to help keep our load speeds up. edit to add: while poking around for the adblock addon i came across this article: http://adblockplus.org/blog/mozilla-hurting-google-by-recommending-adblock-plus in it they say: Finally there is one important point I didn’t see addressed in the AdSense FAQ: you should always try to serve all content from your own server, including ads. Even if you are a member of an advertising network, you should download and cache ads on the server side so that the user doesn’t have to do it. For the user it has the advantage that it speeds up page load times considerably, having to contact several servers (and especially do multiple DNS lookups) might be a major reason your site is perceived as slow. That’s also the reason why I tend to block all external visitor counters — they are a waste of my time, and webmasters who can’t analyze their own web server logs probably don’t really need the data anyway. I should also note that everything your site loads from external sources (especially scripts) is a privacy concern, something you eliminate as well by serving ads from your server. And there is one advantage for you: ads from your server have a different address so that they are not automatically blocked by general rules. That won’t stop users from blocking them if they turn out to be annoying but you get your chance. don't know if this might be part of the issue...
  23. this looks like a really cool show! anyone have an idea what Carole Pope might be singing from that show? sorry but i immediately got "high school confidential" stuck in my head when i saw that name....maybe "cinnamon girl"? LOL
