  1. No guest? No problem. GREAT fun show last night. I enjoyed it much better then May 25. Had the $85 mystery seats again and ended up in 323 (about 2/3 of the way back uppper). Not bad but I was on a mission to get an upgrade. Long story short and much social engineering later, 2 songs in we were sitting in 108 (lower bowl in line with the end of the lip). Excellent seats. So glad to get CYHMK with Mick Taylor. Was neat to hear Jagger talk about Come On, their first single released 50 years ago TODAY! Charlie played a bit of it and Mick sang a few bars then it petered out. Oddest part of the night was the web vote of Worried About You. Odd in that I find it hard to believe that fans would pick this over Sweet Virginia or even Loving Cup. NOBODY in the crowd knew the song at all and it kinda threw the flow of energy in the show off a bit. Jagger handled the falsetto parts very well though. The highlight of the night for me though was the Midnight Rambler. Mick T just shredded on it and it seems Jagger gave him much more room to play then on May 25. Really really great stuff. If that was possibly the last Toronto show, then it was an excellent way to send off. Thank you Rolling Stones. I'm uploading a few videos and will post shortly.
  2. Word. Dumb choices as both YGMR and SFM were both played at the last show...AND SFM was winner last time
  3. it's coming... should be posted around noon....
  4. As per the Hornsby FB page: "Bruce Hornsby well that was fast! we've sold out of our pre-sale allotment for Toronto, but are working with the venue to provide another pre-sale opportunity to anyone who missed out. stay tuned!"" Reg on sale is June 13
  5. Stoked again for tomorrow night. Here's hoping we get lucky again with tickets and/or an upgrade! And more Mick Taylor!
  6. Nice. My buddy's been there any he says it's an insane room. The best he's ever heard. Psyched - just scored 3rd row center orch on the pre-sale...

  11. um...."committed to digital media"? LOL!
  12. My taper buddy Lenny from Buffalo taped it last night from the back of the pit. Also there was Scott from Buffalo running his rig. They were on the same stand. Looking forward to those tapes.
  13. Moe was great. I'm not a fan really but I dug them. Three of the guys stood right besides me for most of the show. Nobody even acknowledged them at all. Al? was grooving pretty good by the end of the night. What got me a lot wetter then I needed to get was having to go to four of those self pay parking kiosks to find one that worked. Worst idea ever having those things for a big event. Especially when there's kids hired standing at the gates doing nothing. WTF.
  14. Good point but there was no rain blowing near the stage at all. I was right near the rail and it was dry. Unless they were just being super cautious.
  15. Great DMB show last night in Toronto. It was probably the soggiest most miserable weather at a show I can rememeber attending aside from possibly the Phish Darien Lake show in 2000. Place looked packed and there were a LOT of really really soaked people on the lawn. Aside from the rain, it was a great night. Band played really well, and being in the pit afforded great sight lines and sound. Sound and lights as expected, were top notch. Those guys are pros. Not a complaint, but what I found odd was the white curtain on the stage entrance as you'll see in the video I took below. Was this Madonna or DMB? Aside from that it was a fine night. 16. Our seats were in 311 3 rows from the top. You could barely see Charlie, and there was this awful bright light shining from behind the curtains. They were terrible seats. Thank God for the relo!
  17. " Jeff Coffin will be playing with the Occhipinti Brothers on Monday, May 27th at 9PM @ the Orbit Room. I hope to see you all there!"
  18. Agreed. The crowd is the main reason I've stayed away from seeing them for years. I finally bit hoping tomorrow will be different..
  19. Ditto. Easy peasy and well organized.
