  1. This research was the general perusal of your experience? Wow. Anyhow' date=' the Dave Matthews Band 3D movie that played in December, and was made and distributed by the same company doing the Phish 3D movie, played in Toronto and one theatre in the Toronto burbs. I don't know if it played it Edmonton, but to be honest I would be shocked if it did. I also wouldn't expect Phish 3D to play there either. [/quote'] Well there you go then.
  2. I'm just speaking from experience. Last year the documentary "More than a game" about LeBron James' youth wasnt shown here either. maybe you're not so concerned if you live in toronto or vancouver cause you at least have limited showings for smaller films. But here in Edmonton it's not the case. I hope I'm wrong!
  3. Sorry if this is an old topic, but I just found out about the Phish 3D movie coming out in theaters april 30. So i went to check my local listings and it wasnt appearing. I did some research and apparently it's not scheduled to come out in Canada! What the heck? :susel:
  4. I don't know if I would say embarrassing considering how the facts are unclear. What is clear is that she wins, surely will make the university and ( by extension, unfortunately) Canada look bad as well. Coulter is a prankster, albeit a well-disguised one. She is incredibly well educated and experienced. I'm willing to bet that she probably isn't even as extreme as she claims to be. She just really craves attention. She needs to be allowed to speak at universities and the bigotry and ingnorance should be discussed afterwards (without her participation), to mitigate her nonsense. If she is ignored she will go away.
  5. LargeMarge I live in Edmonton. Bouche I don't think they have an archive. But hey it's on every Sunday! No better way to end the weekend than with a relaxing sunday night. You gotta catch it next time, it's the merd! Big Wooly Mammoth How do you know Schmo? personally?
  6. Thanks everyone! I hope some of you had a chance to catch the show last night. -TDM (thanks Velvet!)
  7. Hey everyone! I'm from southern California and I've been living in Canada for 3 years. Back home, there's an awesome show called The Music Never Stops, hosted by a guy called Barry Smolin. The show primarily features Grateful Dead shows and local jam bands as well as other weird stuff. Today, Smolin will play the second set of Phil Lesh's 70 b-day party that took place a couple of weeks ago. Check it out, you'll enjoy it! The radio station is KPFK.Tonight at 8 PM Pacific time. BTW-listen for his classic introduction to the show!
