  3. hey there, unfortunately will not be able to make it down this year. i did mail order and got four for the 28 in a row, and four for the 29 in a row. the 28 are great seats, the 29 are not great, but at least row A. it does however get you in the door, and from there....... sections are 101 on 28 409 on 29 i have a million offers on PT, but would like to hook up a canadian...kinda keep it in the community. I will NOT split the eight tix, so please do not ask. looking for face plus fees. if interested shoot me a pm. i want to unload asap, instead of checking email for the next two months, so would expect payment via paypal within 24 hours. i know a few people on this board who could vouch for me, as of course i could not sedn the tix till i get them from phish. peace, db

just got back from this flick. thought it was awesome. really feel it will revolutionize cinema and go down in history as a 'turning point'. its pure cool escapism, so if you dig that stuff ie. are not overly analytical i highly recommend it (in 3d). sorry if there has been a thread about it did a quick search and didnt see much.
  15. saw them a ton in st. john's, and once this summer. they are super tight, and super fun. great dancing and really really good music. newfoundlanders are raised with music intrinsic to their culture and it really shows with groups like this. anyhow would recommend checking them out.
  16. Well as with most things I am pro-choice. But I do urge all of you to make an informed choice. Talk to your parents, grandparents, great-grandparents. Ask them about measles, mumps, polio, diptheria, rubella etc. The current opposition to many vaccinations today is directly a result of the success they have had. I mean who worries about polio anymore? Another thing to consider is a disease that does indeed affect society today. If there were a vaccine for HIV would you give it to your child? Western/modern medicine is what it is. It is not the be all and end all, but as a traditional first nations healer told me (paraphrased), theres no place like a hospital for surgery. All medicines are complementary! One more quick thing, vaccines ARE preventative medicine.
  17. the trip was 1200 or so per person plus flights. this however was for a room with a window. i think the cheapest was 750 or so per person when i went. remember though this inlcudes all food and juices etc. alcohol and soft drinks are extra. so for a weeks vacation its pretty much awesome. one of the highlights for me was standing on the pool deck listening to warren haynes play solo. as it was bad weather outside most people skipped it, and there was maybe thirty of us out there. i would not go every year personally, but its an experience you will never forget.
  18. i agree its good but i think her previous album is way better.
  19. i went. it is truly a unique and fantastic experience. i mean its so nice to not worry about stuff like food, what to bring in you pack etc. the only thing you need is a ton of energy to party that hard for all those days and cash as it is pricey but imo well worth it. cabins sell out fast, especially the ones for two people so basically you would have to book asap for next year.

well i do not have the vocab and writing abilities velvet does...but here is a brief summary. pretty awesome stuff. first show-the band imo never really clicked. everything seemed like a struggle and overall i would call it 'fair' second show- first set was very good. exile highlights were shine a light and if you like loving cup normally check this one out. good yem in third set. great suzy. i think they did one with horns at arrowhead ranch 91 as well, and this version rivals if not tops that one. third concert- acoustic set-nice. second set-gotta jiboo, heavy things, and undermind highlights. yes, that right i think heavy things and undermind were better than reba. third set-fav. of the w/e. maze and theme were way up there, with the page ripping up maze. so if your a page side rage side, kind of peep check it out. the esther encore was actually very enjoyable and neat, and changed me to being a fan of the song. my wife and i did the sun valley music shuttles to and from the show..and i gotta say they were amazing. we never waited more than ten minutes between getting to the shuttle stop and havving a shuttle leave...and all but one time was within five minutes. props. only complaint is i wish they didnt announce 'cool' stuff. but i guess ticket sales were down so they had to. i mean before you went to a show you might of heard of them handing out coffee and donuts after the fact and would be like wow thats cool. kinda more the if you were there then you got it thing. big thanks to phish!
