  1. That was the show I was at...I totally remember that. It's funny, cuz after I saw you guys I asked everyone I knew if they ever heard of the band...and no one did--having said that, I live in southern Ontario. I looked to see if I could see if you were playing for a long time after that and never did. You must have done most of your shows in the Ottawa/Montreal area. No internet then...well, there were about 50 websites-all text--lol, so all we had was papers/mags, posters and word of mouth.
  2. Longbottom? Wow, that's going way back. I saw Longbottom in Montreal--it was a great show.
  3. One of my memories of Jesse is in London at an after party...Jesse wanted me to play something on the guitar and for whatever reason, I decided to "try" to play him You Are Beautiful by Christina Auguilera-and badly I might add as I can't play worth a shit after a few drinks. I have no idea why I would risk an ass chooing or eternal razzing for playing a pop tune at a hippy party but I did. Jesse didn't judge or laugh...well maybe he laughed a little, I know I did. It seems fitting so, this one's for Jesse: Everyday is so wonderful And suddenly, it's hard to breathe Now and then, I get insecure From all the pain, I'm so ashamed I am beautiful no matter what they say Words can't bring me down I am beautiful in every single way Yes, words can't bring me down, oh no So don't you bring me down today To all your friends you're delirious So consumed in all your doom Trying hard to fill the emptiness, The pieces gone, Left the puzzle undone, Ain't that the way it is? You are beautiful no matter what they say Words can't bring you down, no, no You are beautiful in every single way Yes words can't bring you down, oh, no So don't you bring me down today No matter what we do No matter what we say We're the song inside the tune Full of beautiful mistakes And everywhere we go The sun will always shine But tomorrow we might awake On the other side 'Cause we are beautiful, No matter what they say Yes, words won't bring us down, oh no We are beautiful in every single way Yes, words can't bring us down, oh no So don't you bring me down today Don't you bring me down today Don't you bring me down... today Goodbye Jesse. I feel privileged to have known you, even just a little.

  15. Went to Elora gorge for a walk came back and for what ever reason, felt compelled to go into town and get an ice cream. I would usually just eat on the road but instead, sat in my car for about 10 minutes and then headed back. It had sprinkled at bit while I was in my car but nothing big. I went back the way I came to hit the highway home and there were at lease 8 large trees down in my path--it was really weird. There were a few people hurt including a motorcyclist. I think someone was watching out for me that day. Had I ate my cone on the road, I might have been badly hurt--who knows.
  16. Missed the last one, would like to make this show!
