  1. he's a great player. Nice find!
  2. http://en.twitcasting.tv/yasunobuarakawa Phish streaming live from Alpharetta. set so far = meh.
  3. Apparently, if you can't make it back for the show on the 22nd you can get a refund for parking for the July 9th show, if you happen to still have your parking stub. From the way that is phrased, I imagine that if you are going to the 22nd you should probably be able to re-use the parking stub that day too. For those of you who can’t make it back, here’s how you get your money back for the parking: Scan or take a photo of your parking receipt and email it to the info below: http://www.ontarioplace.com/corporate-directory General Manager’s Office & Guest Services Valerie Holliday Executive Assistant to the General Manager valerie.holliday@ontarioplace.com Phone: 416-314-9784 Peace and love to you all!
  4. Those people were certainly inconvenienced, but it wasn't the bands fault. The immediate rescheduling of the show was their statement.
  5. I deleted my post on the grounds it was not kind and heady. I apologize for over-reacting. But your dark clouds are really a bummer, man.

  7. Barring any power problems or damage with the infrastructure of the shed, it'll happen. Tomorrow should be rainy but nothing like this. I'll be on the lawn..... wish me luck!
  8. http://www.crunchygroove.com/ you can at least listen to the Bangor show here (until they are forced to take it down of course). SBD.
  9. Can't make the gig but that is an astounding name for a band. Well done. Well played. :: slow clap :: Congratulations on 10 years folks!
  10. It's true. Look at the attendance figures from last year, especially in the mid-west (Burgettstown, Deer Creek [Klipsch], Alpine Valley). 2012 Phish ticket sales Overall, though, it's not like there's not any money to be made here. All sorts of acts book get booked into "big' rooms but only anticipate a certain percentage of sales. From 1993 to 1999 Phish regularly played 18k-20k venues that "only" sold 8k - 10k. It's not like Tucson or Vancouver was hotbed markets for them but they still played there on occasion. And that's where Toronto fits into the picture now. In a way things are just re-setting themselves back to "normal" for a band like Phish. blah blah blah, shut up MarcO.
  11. It's a curious time for some of these acts these days. I note that the first two shows of the Dylan/Wilco/MMJ/Bob Weir Americanarama (what ding dong came up with that name?) tour have only had 5k - 7k attending in the 18k amphitheatres. Last Winter, Dave Matthews Band couldn't sell out a show in their "hometown" of Charlottesville, and I know their Toronto ACC show was half-full (10k). I don't actually think the Phish Toronto show will be a disaster, as in feeling empty. Phish have played shows in Idaho with less attendees. But it's clear that if the tour was routed differently, this show would be selling at least a bit better.
  12. Well, I know if I found myself in Puerto Rico, I'd be drunk, so good on Weir.
  13. Not in fact. But as far as psychotic delusions go, absolutely. Roll with it.
  14. You had better consult Celine Dion.
  15. Did bouche forget the Ask Hamilton threads from year's past? Having said that, was this place Reddit before Reddit was Reddit? Ok, here's the answer to the first question: The Answer Second answer, you need to talk to your doctor about a possible speech empediment.
  16. I have the answer for that! It's already all around you. Smarten up and let it in.
  17. Proctor & Gamble invented the envelope filter in 1973.
  18. This one I can answer precisely: I was just making a joke. But to answer, no and no.
  19. I've thought about this a lot. Thanks for asking. i would definitely develop a hat that has tissue paper coming out of it. Then, if I was with someone who needed to sneeze, I could just lean over and offer them a hankie from my dome.
  20. It's a musical genre defined by the sound of an envelope filter and a completely extraneous percussion player.
  21. I can answer this! I don't know.
  22. Hey, I'll be back in a bit. Group Swim is on at the Community Center and there's always a lot of hot moms there.
  23. Easy. Do an interwebz search on "The Pork and Rapini Sandwich Shop" and go to the nearest one. Or, alternatively, check your fridge when you know no-one is watching.
  24. In my defense, I have successfully answered several questions. Heroes don't always rush into a burning building to save orphans. Some of them eat a nice pork sandwich with rapini and watch CSI: Miami.
