  1. See you in Canandaigua ... and in Toronto after they add it.
  2. I am also not sure what to think. Would love to travel to this with the crew of friends from last year, and add more to the mix, but the lineup, while containing lots of good stuff, seems to be missing something. No Phil (which surprises me given that the lineup was announced on his birthday), no Ratdog, no ABB, no SCI, no Phish (ha ha). Hopefully I don't sound like I'm stuck in the past with my whining! It is a sweet venue, the timing of this fest is great, and there is lots on the bill that I know I'd enjoy. Plus the festival is known for some sweet late additions over the years. Curious as to what others think. Part of what makes a festival experience great is the friends that are part of it. Going to look at Mountain Jam again as well. Peace, Mark
  3. Would be great to travel with and/or hook up with others as well.
  4. For anybody in the Niagara Region on the Easter weekend, consider a trip to The Sanctuary on Sat. April 19. And I'm not talkin' about a visit to this website. I'm talkin' about a trip to a sweet venue in Ridgeway, Ontario. Rose Garland will be filling the room with tasty versions of Grateful Dead songs. And rumour has it that Mark Tonin will be openin' the show, playin' acoustic guitar and singin' some songs, maybe solo, maybe with a friend or two. He's got a few new tunes to unleash and a whole lotta energy to share ... you know what I'm talkin' about. Here's a link to the venue website, with more info to follow at a later date. 5. Cool! These guys do it well!!
  6. I thought I'd lol a few times when I reopened this thread, and I did!
  7. Lots of cool bands on the bill for the May long weekend! Hard to believe it's been 15 years!! http://cometogethermusicfest.ca/ Diesel Dog Caution Jam Toadhouse The Lofi Mind Tim Turvey & The Extraterroristrials Rusty Timbr and the Doughouse Beat The Zilis Ghost Town Orchestra Dirk Quinn Band Dan Walsh Lower Ground Motion Grove Flat 5 Must Stash Hat Gruve Mark Wilson & The Way It Is Blind Mule The Monarch Project Lindy Logan Staats Stephen Lewis with more to be announced
  8. Canandaigua will be a nice mid-week mid-July adventure! Not sure if I'll hit up anything else this summer, but maybe ...
  9. I'm hoping that the lineup is solid, as I'd love to hit up this festival again. Would be a treat to go with the same crew. The venue is sweet and the timing is perfect for this dude.
  10. Liking the looks of this lineup, and could potentially be in for this, but waiting for a few more announcements (GOTV and Phish to name a couple) before committing to anything. Happy summer music thoughts!
  11. Long live the Fatties! And nice to read that Josh will be bringing his organ back to the band!! (OK, I'm thinking that last line is a setup for somebody's post!)
  12. Toadhouse has a good thing going and I am curious about the venue. Hope to check it out.
  13. Congrats to The Unseen Strangers for making it onto this bill!!!
  14. Agreed ... a sweet offer! A killer recording of the Fatties set from the FUNdraiser show: https://archive.org/details/FatCats2006-01-28..shnf Peace, Mark
  15. I like the looks of this lineup, but I can't swing it at this time of year.
  16. I still like visiting the sanctuary, and I'm gonna try to participate more often than I have been of late. I wish I could say that there was a party at the the Lanc coming up, but no such luck ...
  17. Really hoping to see these guys at some point this year!
  18. Love it ... makes may think of that hilarious raffle at the Come Together Music Fest many years ago! I've watched a number of Dragons Den episodes in the past and yes, Yo's business is not developed enough for them to invest in. As investors, they are looking for more developed ideas with concrete financial info that shows good profit potential. But it is a cool idea! Peace, Mark
  19. Heard excellent things about last year's Peach Fest from a couple of friends. It is definitely on my list of summer festival possibilities, but I will have to wait until the summer draws closer before committing to anything.
  20. Wow, been busy and out of the loop for the past week and come back to read this news. Hope to get to see them at least once more ...
  21. Had a blast at the two All Good festivals I've been to, one in West Virginia and one at Buckeye Lake. One less festival option for this summer ...
  22. Was hoping this tour would make its way closer ...
