Well, thanks for the encouraging words 😜. Hahaha, seriously, I play music because I love how it makes me feel and how it allows me to relate to my fellow musicians and the audience. Sometimes I play original music and sometimes I put together a project such as this. And yeah, our guitar player doesn’t think he’s Derek Trucks. But he doesn’t suck either 😊.

The combination is potent, entertaining, and a treat for live music lovers. With a driving, powerful rhythm section, soaring keys, 2 very different guitar styles, and some of the best 3-part harmonies in the business, this crew are quickly gaining fans new and old. The band’s main goal is to recreate the Phish Experience. Whether it’s their ever changing setlists, synchronized dancing (or trampoline-ing) or touring with their own lighting rig and director (TG5), the band is committed to giving people that same feeling as the one we’ve all felt many times before. The Lizards make it possible to gain that experience in our own backyard, with many feeling it’s been a long time coming that a band can create a community in this country for such a style of music. The Lizards intend to show everyone that they, above all things, can once again bring together a congregation of like-minded people that all want the same things: good times, good music & sore legs!Rich has agreed to reinvent his performance from the original Dead Phish show at the Mod Club.
