  1. taste the dream I've only eaten or drank rice milk (or rice cream, an ice cream substitute) for the the past 7 years now... no more athsma, less phlegm in general, no more nightmares of bloody nipples hooked up to milking robots (worked on a dairy farm for a short while) try Rice Dream Cocoa Marble Fudge sometime... give a cow a break, you won't know the difference
  2. I think we should all paint our fingernails black for this run (kudos marco, said short-haired goth/industrial paisley) and I found a much cooler, less-jazz noodling forum
  3. yeah, Lotus were impressive thats an awful sweet month happenin there in Vermont to be sure
  4. one more week and a half to go! damn I'm ready for a Slip show!
  5. hopin to get miracled (see ya out front!)
  6. that don't look like no toad grundle to me.
  7. be happy to lend a hand cleaning up the actual site a little later this week Josh, if you could use one (I can read in code, it can't fool me) e-mail: jhamie @gmail.com (remove the space before @) the Mansion House is a really cool venue... the wierd little theater room is my favorite area, though the whole place is pretty nice... sounds like fun
  8. A while back my friend saw a truck roll by with an open air wooden cage on the back that was loaded with little baby piglets. He told me that while he was taken aback by how cute they all were up close, all he could think was "Why do you have to taste sooo good!"
  9. Surly Thunder. Interesting Footnote: While updating the PJC website (almost done, relax Willy!) noted that the names "The Surly Young Bucks" and "What the Thunder Said" each consist of exactly 18 letters. Coincidence? I think not. now back to your regularly scheduled program
  10. Dr. Disc on Wilson Street in downtown Hamilton is also a decent record shop
  11. wha? (ok, ya, guess I did miss the boat on that one)
  12. while I was living in Vancouver we got about an inch or so of snow and I couldn't believe what it did to people's driving capabilities... people were driving 10 kms an hour everywhere... had just spent a year in Sault Ste Marie previous to that move and couldn't figure out what the fuss was about aside from that, I think I need a fire to sit in front of
  13. really eh? had just assumed it was Altman from the cast, as well as the way the plot unfolds fear not though, lots more bubbles where that one came from...
  14. wow, missed this news... Altman was definately one of the genius' of film-making... had a rare ability to provide real insight into human nature and society at large... didn't get a 'real' Oscar but had the greater satisfaction of knowing he always did it "his way"... one of the true originals a personal favorite film of his is "Flirting With Disaster"... if you haven't seen it definately check it out (towards the end there's the most fittingly applied use of a Grateful Dead song I've seen in a film, classic)
  15. right ons POG! a huge congrats to you and the lucky lady!
  16. the ceaseless "one-up" manship between zero and shainhouse eventually sent me packing (and Dima's "one-hand" manship certainly didn't help matters)
  17. right ons! happy birthday Eric@ seems the messy messy month of Sagittarius birthdays is upon us
  18. the Elvis reference came from that deep dark corner of the mind, that I try not to listen to (and then the Arts and Entertainment Channel has to screw everything up by taking "24" off the air at 8 in the morning, 2 episodes into the season 1 re-runs (no less adding insult to injury by replacing it with "CSI: Miami"... speaking of The Who) a better synopsis for the band would likely be: "I could never, ever, picture Neil Young walking out in the middle of a Golden Dogs show."
  19. ditto on the Golden Dogs call... the band puts out an awesome energy... soul savingly non-cliche, non-formula, balls-out rock and roll... like Elvis meant it to be
  20. Curb Your Enthusiasm is awesome... been falling over lots of times watching... don't go out of my way to catch it, but am always happy that I do, when I do nicely crafty comedy, easy to tell its from the same camp as the creators of Seinfeld
