right on my friend... is truly great to hear you're feeling positive and well
second time you've come up for me the past few days... doing up the pepperjacks website went looking for info about band called The Arkells... they got my immediate support when I saw you gave em the thumbs up
-
my first concert was Saga, opening band was Bryan Adams... it worked out pretty good that way to be honest, Bryan was good but certainly didn't steal the show
Long Live Saga!

"there just must be a phone booth around here somewhere... god damn it!"
Happidy Happidy Craigy!
Beer is good food.

for the record, my seeds turned green before the website came back online
for those who're keeping track of these things
the minions of Bell stock owning right wing almost-sorta-kinda-like hackers will have their day yet... they're pretty sure... once they find someone who can sell them a (registered and copywrited) patch that'll stop that vexing 0x00000FUTHANKSFORTHECASHHAHAHA blue screen from shuttin them down every hour and a half
-
noticed earlier that the few stmusic torrents I was seeding turned red... though the seeds weren't happening could get on the site
now no site
expecting to see some smiling dude in a nice bathrobe being led out to a cop cruiser in a suburb of Paris or Stockholm on the news tonight
but just as likely someone spilt coffee on their server, or kicked out the plug by accident I guess
maybe right wing hackers, who'd happily give up their lives to preserve capitalism in the "free" world, grouped together in the thousands on a windows workstation (on which all the software is bought and paid for, and registered) to crash the server out using Microsoft Outlook and an Ikea mailout with embedded Flash
nevermind... is back online

my present to Weirdness this year will be not sitting awake at his kitchen table with bleary red eyes tomorrow morning when he wakes up, asking if I can borrow $20 to go catch a bus out of town

Happy Happys to the both of ya!

You'd think they might've been able to come up with some better music for this bit given some of the musicain members they have.

Alexander Graham wouldn't be impressed
Bell's the textbook example of corporations fine tuned to rake in money a lot while caring about those from whom its raked barely at all
extremely happy to be off them, had so many cold empty experiences in dealing with them in the past

What happened to the great booking they had for Labour Day with B.A. and Woodhands and whatnot? I thought the fest was going in a nice, bold new direction.

and have to agreed with boiler rat... the poster is beautiful

Albert Hoffman R.I.P.

Hoffman was interviewed on CNN on his 100th birthday and reflected that it was a shame LSD was first over-popularized and subsequently over-demonized... said he felt doses had enormous potential for humankind and would one day help us reach a new stage in our evolution... aside from all that was sharp as a whip and looking great for someone 100 years old
a heartfelt thanks Albert... was some fancy work that day in the lab
