  7. Hey everybody... it's been 3 months since Bonfire 2009 & it's time to bring the clan back together for another night of amazing live music with our good friends from Seattle, Washington... FLOWMOTION Friday November 13th Arts Club Backstage Lounge 1585 Johnston - Granville Island $15 @ the door Show starts at 10:15 pm - 2 FULL SETS!! Those of you who know... know. For those of you that don't... trust me. It'll be $15.00 of very well spent money! The boys have been growing, writing, touring, performing & honing their craft to a fine, well-oiled, melodic jam-rock machine... all the while gathering steam South of the border after a SMOKING performance to headline their 9th Annual Summer Meltdown Festival in Darrington, WA this past August. Read about some of their exploits from a couple of music critics that seem to be jumping on board with much enthusiasm! Dennis Cook - JAMBASE. com - Great American Music Hall (San Francisco, CA) review - This is primo melodic rock grounded in rhythms that draw from Latin rock and juke joint blues to create expansive, dexterous groove music with hair on its chest and a quick step. This Seattle band has garnered a large, fervent following in the Pacific Northwest (including their annual Summer Meltdown Festival), and there's gleeful rock gusto to what they do, and much like PMW, they seem ripe for wider discovery. On some surface level, I can see Phish lovers falling for Flowmotion, though lead singer-guitarist Josh Clauson is a stronger, more passionate singer than anyone in that famous quartet. This set ebbed and flowed from balls-out chargers to quite tender ballads, different sections showing Southern rock, Pink Floyd and other classic FM radio influences given a morphing, graceful turn of their own. High energy, charismatic performers and excellent, limber musicians, Flowmotion deserve an audience well beyond Washington State." Dennis Cook - JAMBASE. com - Summer Meltdown Festival (Darrington, WA) review - "They are a rock band in the open-minded mold of the 1970s, able to synthesize distinctly funky, jazzy elements into a tough whole. Listening side stage much of the set, watching them closely as they plied their trade with broad, mischievous grins, I was reminded of my childhood days listening to AM radio, where Al Green sat comfortably next to Steely Dan, Charlie Rich, Hall & Oates, Springsteen and Bob Marley – all inflections of broadminded groove, thoughtfully textured and possessed of a craftsmanship and intelligence almost entirely absent from today's mainstream." Mike Bookey - The Source Weekly (Bend, OR) - It’s been about nine months since they last dropped into Bend, but Seattle’s Flowmotion is returning once again for another high-energy, multi-genre rock and roll explosion. It’s been fun to watch Flowmotion grow over the past two-plus years of playing in Bend. A jam-packed show at the Annex in late 2007 (which was capped with a cover of Zeppelin’s “The Song Remains the Sameâ€) led to a laser-lighted 4 Peaks preview show, which then brought them to the actual 4 Peaks main stage. At that performance, the band woke up the campgrounds, bringing the music fans to the stage early for an early afternoon performance that showcased how big the band’s sound can spread when it has the room. Fronted by the smooth yet strong vocals and guitar of Josh Clauson and further fueled by the lead guitar of RL Heyer, Flowmotion plays quintessentially honest rock and roll, but can get funky when needed. The band’s new single, “How I Know†is a perfect example of the band’s evolution from jam band to all-encompassing rock act. Jackie Devereaux - Desert Local News - Joshua Tree Music Festival review - http://www.flowmotion.net/press_archive/joshua_tree.html SPREAD THE WORD... IT'S TIME TO DROP IN THE FLOW AGAIN! www.flowmotion.net www.myspace.com/flowmotionmusic

  11. Gotta love jambands with vibes... FLOWMOTION KICKS SERIOUS ASS!!
  12. Bonfire Music & Events Presents... and SERIOUSLY folks, if EVER there was a band you MUST see NOW while the venues are intimate & the tickets are cheap... THESE GUYS ARE THAT BAND!!! Seattle, Washington's PREMIER live act FLOWMOTION Friday February 6 The Ocean Port Hotel & Bar 37991 Second Ave. Squamish, BC 604.892.3422 Doors at 9:00 pm - Show starts at 10:00 pm $10 advance tickets available Wednesday January 21 at The Ocean Port, Zulu Records & Highlife Records $15 at the door Saturday February 7 - Keither's 37th Birthday Bash The Fairview Pub 898 West Broadway Vancouver, BC 604.872.1262 Doors at 9:00 pm - Show starts at 10:00 pm $15 advance tickets available Wednesday January 21 at Zulu Records & Highlife Records $20 at the door Hidden beneath the bows of the Northwest evergreens is found Flowmotion, one of Seattle's most distinctly diverse rock bands. This is an act that fails to fall into an easily packaged genre, succeeds in defying stereotypes, and throws one hell of a party no matter what city, town or festival the five-piece band happens to land in. Flowmotion is a name well known in the Seattle live music scene and becoming increasingly familiar up and down the West Coast, yet largely unheard of throughout much of the country. The band has managed to remain in the "best-kept-secret" vault of the live music scene, all the while honing a live show that often exceeds the size of the stage they might find themselves performing on. A Flowmotion show is a swooping ride through the fingers of rock fueled solely on the expert musicianship of its five parts, producing a sound that's unmistakably huge. The Flowmotion name has been in existence since 2001 under the creative eye of founder, guitarist and lead vocalist Josh Clauson - the only member of the band's original lineup. At a time when the future of Flowmotion was uncertain, the front man found himself at a show featuring a Seattle-based (via Spokane) jazz fusion outfit called BeeCraft, he knew he'd found the sound he'd been searching for before the band even finished its set. It was only a matter of time before Clauson would envelope the entirety of BeeCraft into the Flowmotion lineup. The most recent addition to the Flowmotion lineup came last year in the form of guitarist RL Heyer, who brought to the already talented band an arsenal of rock licks. While Flowmotion always had a multi-genre attack hidden in its quiver, Heyer's skill set allows the band to transition from downright booty shaking funk to fist-pumping rock before the packed dance floor knows what hit them. When their show is in full swing, Clauson and Heyer's guitars converse pleasantly and aggressively, often escalating to arena rock levels while at the same time creating the sort of soundscapes typically reserved for the likes of Pink Floyd. It's nearly impossible to mention the name Flowmotion in the Pacific Northwest without bringing forth a mention of Summer Meltdown, the annual music and camping festival the band has hosted for nearly a decade. As the years have slipped by, the band has watched the annual gathering grow from a backyard bash to one of the region's most well-attended summer festivals - a celebration that's expected to bring as many as 4,000 revelers to the foothills of the Cascade Mountains this summer. While Flowmotion has always been the headliner at the festival, they've also shared the stage with national bands including Bill Frisell, Vince Herman, Garaj Mahal, Zilla, Bassnectar, Yard Dogs Road Show. 2008's lineup is the strongest to date featuring Tea Leaf Green, Buckethead, Everyone Orchestra, Blue Turtle Seduction, On the One, Delta Nove and 20 other of the Northwest's favorite regional bands. There are many music fans in the Northwest and beyond who will remember Flowmotion from their years of touring and festival appearances and expect the same band as they heard in the early part of this decade. While the spirit around which Clauson built the band is very much alive, the sound has evolved with Flowmotion incorporating more rock edginess without forgetting the dance floor grooves that have brought them this far. Whereas Clauson previously authored most of the Flowmotion repertoire, songwriting duties have since been delegated amongst the band resulting in set lists that skip across the spectrum reminding listeners of Zeppelin at some moments and Parliament at others. It's been a steady climb for Flowmotion over the past decade, but it seems like the Northwest is going to have to give up its secret and let everyone in on what Flowmotion brings to the table - and the dance floor. Check out some of their AMAZING live video at www.flowmotion.net

    Tintin

I thought both Tintin & Asterix were great. Favourite Tintin was definitely the 2 book story that started with 'The Secret of the Unicorn' and ended with 'Red Rackham's Treasure'. Best Asterix? I'd have to go with 'Asterix & Caesar's Gift'. I never really got it till a little later on, but how great of a name for a Druid is Getafix!
  14. Wow. Okay... I've finally had the time to breathe, relax & decompress from a WHIRLWIND month! First off, I'd like to thank EVERYBODY that made it out to Bonfire this year... bands, ambience crew, volunteers, vendors, the Pender Harbour Lions Club, security, first aid, green team, my friends, family & all the random freaks I first met who were kind enough to join us this year. This was my favourite Bonfire to date for so many reasons, but mostly because ALL OF YOU made it that way! Things could not have run more smoothly, the KINDVIBES that were running through every inch of the site could not have been felt more strongly... and I could feel the LOVE through every note, every personal encounter, every fire pit flame, every bang of the ceremonial fire gong, every conversation, every meeting of eyes, every exchange of smiles, every hug and every ripping dance move... all week long. I'll tell you what... THAT was FUN!!!! To be completely honest, I've never felt happier in all my life than the way I felt at Bonfire this year... from start to finish. For me that was Utopia, Christmas & the feeling of falling in love for the first time all wrapped up into one sweet little package. It didn't hurt that I fell in love with a beautiful & amazing woman at Bonfire this year either! I'm sure many of you noticed the MASSIVE grin I had from ear to ear every minute of every day! So... where do we stand now? Where does this thing of ours go. You'll all be happy to know that after this year's success it is onward & upward for Bonfire. The planning stages for Bonfire 2009 are already in the works... we're learning as we go along and as such are going to strike while the iron is still hot. We'll be starting to move into the next phase by securing some sponsors for next year within the months of September through December, as it has become clear that although we were successful this year with our new scaled down formula, we could still use the financial help of sponsors to alleviate some of the burden we've shouldered ourselves the first 4 years... and also to help take Bonfire into a not necessarily bigger, but definitely better realm of production possibilities. Highlights for me were far too numerous to list here, so I'll just throw down a few that REALLY stood out. If I missed anyone or anything, it's only because I was off doing something else at the time. I was actually WORKING there... believe it or not! - MooseBroccoli busting out Brickhouse's "Love in the Room" on Saturday night after Themasses finally ended their 4 hour marathon. I sang it to Commitment at the top of my lungs, embraced in a huge hug... right in the middle of the concert amphitheatre. Thanks Brucey... beautiful assist! I love you brother! - Rab 5 ripping their 2nd set with 'a fungus among us' and taking things to a level I'd never seen them reach before. Having Flowmotion's Josh Clauson sit in most of the set also added a nice layer of groove to an already smoking show. - My first time seeing the Couchmen do their thing, and do it well. Also, the renaming & rebranding of South Jackton & New South Jackton to "South Central Couchton". Classic as always... and my favourite spot for late-night revelry. - Flowmotion's entire set. These guys are my new favourite band, and IMO are on the verge of GREAT things. It felt great to have them back up to Canada following their Meltdown Festival, and to give them a place full of beautiful smiling people whom they could simply PLAY FOR... without the stress of managing their own festival on top of performing. Trust me when I say they REALLY felt the love from everybody & will DEFINITELY be back in 2009! - Spicy Bloody Mary's that my cutie made me for my post-breakfast beverage every morning! LOL - Don Alder. That's all that needs to be said. Don Alder. - Velvet & Kuba Oms taking things up a notch and initially igniting the fire on the Saturday night dance party. That was a sweet, soulful, funky & super dance heavy set! - Freeflow doing their thing. It was LOUD, but man was the dance floor hopping. I could feel the GROUND bouncing us all up & down by the middle of their set! - Themasses. Wow. BEST THEMASSES SHOW EVER!!! I went to spend some time with Commitment in the chill tent during 2nd set as it was actually empty for the first time all weekend, everyone was boogying their asses off on the 'dance floor'... and I could have sworn I was at a Phish show for parts of that set... not just during Hood. The electro-funk grooves reminded of '97... thick, heady, groovy and driving. That was a funktronica marathon, and from the looks of the crowd at the end of their set... almost eveyone made it to the finish line! - Kindvibes & friends stepping up to the plate and filling Sunday's Main Stage opening spot that had been vacated due to unforeseen circumstances. I only caught a bit of the set, but regardless... you're all champs! I guess you all got quite a bit of rehearsal time leading up to it though, eh? - Blackberry Wood and their fun carnival atmosphere. I really think it helped tip the scales for some of the folks who were on the fence about leaving Sunday. I saw a lot of "Hmmmm... I guess this IS gonna be another day of sweet music, people & dance party fun!!" spreading around. - The Tuques and their unique blend of rock & bluegrass. That was a ripping set! Pickers n'a Strummers!!! - I missed Baked Potato's set, but camping right beside Spudly, Joe & the BP Clan is always a memorable & uplifting experience. What started at "Daddy-Daughter Meltdown" just continued at Bonfire. I love you guys. Let's do it all over again next year, eh? - Canadian Beauty... for us old farts that actually got to go on Dead tour 'back in tha day', this set really felt like coming home again. The guys were ripping it up so sweetly, and you could tell they put A LOT of work into rehearsing for this performance. I found myself dancing with Bruce, Dean Schutz, Jason & Jen Goodman, MedMan and a few other friends of days gone by that have since resurfaced in the Bonfire community, and I couldn't help but smile & literally laugh out loud... I was SO HAPPY!!! Wait till you all hear the discs... that Slipknot! jam was equal to any I saw the Dead pull off in 30+ shows over 8 years. Come on... Help > Slipknot > Deal > St. Stephen > Saturday Night? Eyes of the world > Spanish Jam > Shakedown Street? That shit was OFF THE HOOK!!! The Let It Grow was a personal request too, their first Bobby song ever and they didn't disappoint... so that was just icing on the sweet & rich cake I'd been eating all weekend! Sunday night's post-music festivities were my favourite all weekend too... cause we were finally done after 12 months of hard work trying to bring our little festival back from the brink of death... and succeeding in spades. You might have noticed all of us cutting a rug a little harder than the previous nights... like during our liquor-induced 'production golf cart bumper car sessions!' I'd like to thank the denizens of South Central Couchton for refraining from coming to steamroll me on Saturday night, even though I know you would have, had my girl not shut 'er down. I finally had someone taking care of me, and I love her even more for it. I was REALLY tired by the end of Saturday night, and someone like Sean Sullivan might have caught ANOTHER elbow to the nose... which wouldn't have been any good for anybody, except everyone who managed to get out of the way of waking the sleeping Keither! However, you did manage to starfish me on Sunday night and get out without any serious injuries. This will not be forgotten. I have taken numbers and payback will come when you least expect it. Keep your heads up. Okay... I think I'm done for now, but for one final note. Keep your ears to the ground and expect an announcement on a very special early bird ticket package that will be coming in the next couple of months. We're gonna offer an awesome, discounted, super earlybird package VERY SOON that will include your 2009 weekend camping pass, parking pass, a 2009 Bonfire t-shirt, a 2008 Bonfire compilation CD and most importantly - early arrival to the campgrounds on Thursday of next year... before everyone else arrives, so you can dial up the best camp/party grounds for what we hope will be an even better year than this was! Thank you all SO MUCH!!!! Big love & huge hugs Keither Photos - http://sensitive-light.smugmug.com/gall ... 9301_ZuefS
  15. A two person review from Keither & MooseBroccoli of the Bonfire Festival in BC next weekend... Who: Flowmotion, Everyone Orchestra, Tea Leaf Green, Buckethead, That 1 Guy & about 40 other bands at the 8th Annual Flowmotion Summer Meltdown What: Just about every type of good music... plus workshops, kid's camp & more Where: Whitehorse Mountain Amphitheatre ~ Darrington, Washington When: Thursday August 7 - Sunday August 10 Sound: Keither - The audio was abundant & heavy to lift... but sounded pretty good to me most of the time. There were certainly moments that were a little muddled, but IMO the audio crew did a great job. Garden Stage was a little too bass heavy at times, but with so many different styles of music to mix, you had to expect some variations on sound quality. MooseBroccoli ran the late night audio through one of those good old Mackie systems, and did an amazing job getting the best out of it... as usual. SO MANY PROPS being given to Bruce by all the late night musicians. Bruce - FOH bass on the Main Stage was a little too loose for Moosey's liking... but he thought the PA was killer. Simply put, the Meltdown did a great job with sound. Ambience: Keither - The lighting tech Gary had a MONSTER visual rig, so on that end things were mind blowing. The ambience of the whole place felt a lot like a Supercharged Bonfire Festival. So... the atmosphere & mood of the place was very special & unique. Can't forget the glacier fed river on site... which was ecstatic on the hot days. Bruce - In the late night tent, it was theatrical, fun, very well received... and free!!! General Meltdown ambience was uplifting. Crowd/Scene/Vibe: Keither - Probably the best large group of happy, friendly, creative & helpful people I've ever spent an extended time with. Everyone was super stoked to be Melting Down, the PNW was very well represented, and as such... even the rain we got on Saturday didn't dampen the positive energy. That site is perfect in every way, so all good there. The vibe felt like a Horning's or High Sierra festival. I was in my happy place for the whole week... except for a small bump on Saturday night. Bruce - Meltdown encompassed exactly the type of folks you want to spend a weekend of camping & listening to music with, in exactly the type of environment. It was exactly what you want out of a Summer Music Festival. Quote(s): Keither "Keither! Your first fucking Meltdown and already you crazy Canucks are jacking our Main Stage!!!" ~ Evan McDonnell (the festival's production manager) after showing up Saturday morning to find a Canadian flag & a Jolly Roger pirate flag emblazoned in the Main Stage scaffolding. By the way... it WASN'T me. If I had thought of that, I would have scaled the scaffolding & set the flags right on the top! "Keither man... we've got a 10 pound roast that we're gonna BBQ and then wrap in bacon!" ~ GerryG from the Bellingham Flowmotion Clan Bruce - "I'm looking for something, but I can't tell you what. No, I'm not lost. Yep, I'm alright. I'm not looking for drugs. I'm looking for a boy. I need a fuck." ~ Some cute, solo & illegal 17 year old girl wandering around as Bruce was making his way to bed after the Saturday late-night show and the sun was up. Highlites: Keither - Flowmotion, Acorn Project, On The One, McTuff and camping with the Israel family/community. Most importantly, working with all the amazing staff. There's far too many to list, but I'd like to give a special thanks to JQ, Evan & the FlowMo gents for having us down and treating us like family. Bruce - On The One... and successfully manouevering the audio for the 15 or so member Saturday late-night All Star Jam! Summation: Keither - Totally melted, and will be back for more every year from now on! Bruce - Highly recommended www.summermeltdown.com
  16. Banff, eh? Right on Eddie... we'll be stoked to have ya!
  17. Is there nobody from the wet coast on this board?
  18. Happy Summer everyone! Okay... all the details of Bonfire 2008 have now been finalized, and our tickets are on sale at every outlet. This is a big year for us all... our last kick at the can so to speak. It's been decided that 2008's event has to work... or we'll very reluctantly have to call it a day. So... I would like to thank everyone in advance for all the support we've received this year to get things back on track. I'm confident that 2008 will be a banner year and any discussion of putting Bonfire to rest will have been redundant. With that being said, we could really use all the help & support you can offer. Any friends of yours who may be on the fence... light a fire under their arses and get 'em up to the Coast! All you committed Bonfire supporters... get yer tickets early! I think we're so close to finding the right formula for the long-term success of Bonfire, BC's own music festival & campout on the beautiful Sunshine Coast... so let's work together and make this a reality for many years to come! A CD RELEASE PARTY for RABNETT 5 Newly signed by Philadelphia, PA's Rope-A-Dope Records & fresh off recording their label debut 'Leopardism' with producer Scotty Hard (MMW, John Scofield, Wu-Tang Clan, Sex Mob) RABNETT 5 will be bringing their infectious mix of jazz-funk grooves to Vancouver for what's sure to be an incredible night of sexy grooves, virtuosic musicianship & amazing improvisation. Friday March 28 Starlight Tiki Room (at the Waldorf Hotel) 1489 East Hastings Doors at 9:00 pm 2 sets of music starting at 10:00 pm www.myspace.com/rabnett5 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- An evening with Seattle, Washington's FLOWMOTION With their high-energy, infectious rock and roll, Flowmotion dominates the live music scene in the Pacific Northwest. With performances booked at the West Coast's biggest & best music festivals this summer, including High Sierra and Earthdance, they are poised to break onto the national scene in 2008. Flowmotion's live performances are renowned for stellar musicianship, contagious energy, packed dance floors and, courtesy of their two lead guitarists, smoking guitar riffs. Fronted by singer/songwriter Josh Clauson (electric guitar, vocals), with RL Heyer (electric and slide guitars, vocals), Sabu Miyata (bass), Scott Goodwin (drums, vocals) and Bob Rees (percussion, vibraphone), Flowmotion's expertly controlled grooves harness the power of their funky, percussion-driven rock and roll. Friday April 4 The Fairview Pub 898 West Broadway Doors at 9:00 pm 2 sets of music starting at 10:00 pm www.flowmotion.net www.myspace.com/flowmotionmusic ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A tribute to the Grateful Dead with Victoria, BC's CANADIAN BEAUTY In 2004, a handful of experienced Victoria, BC musicians banded together to pay tribute to one of their (collectively) favourite bands, The Grateful Dead. What started out as a Summertime Jerry Garcia birthday celebration slowly expanded to a bi-annual event each New Year's for Vancouver Island's multitudes of overt and in-the-closet Deadheads. Many of the members started playing together years ago in various Western Canadian jam bands such as Lift, A Particular Wave, and Nonfiction. Since then they've all moved on to bigger things, and tighter bands. Our member's main projects include original local and international acts Elephant Island, Outlaw Social, Noises from the Toolshed, Toni Childs, and Jesse Farrell. I'm sure I'm missing some. While this project is an admitted side-project for all of us, we've devoted quite a bit of time to ensure that we don't disappoint any fans of the original songs. Many times we've taken the liberty to carefully re-arrange a song to something that suits our style a little better, and although we're covering THE original Jam Band, we try to focus on what makes some of these songs so great... the lyrics and the melody. There are always a few extended jams at a Canadian Beauty concert, but there are also many straight up, song-writer-style renditions of Deadheads' favourite tunes. Friday April 25 The Fairview Pub 898 West Broadway Doors at 9:00 pm 2 sets of music starting at 10:00 pm www.canadianbeauty.org www.myspace.com/canadianbeauty ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So there you have it... 3 great nights of music with 3 fantastic bands. See you on the dance floor!!!
  22. Looking for some quality entertainment this holiday season? Check out this event below, these guys are well worth it!! Bonfire Music & Events presents Seattle, Washington's FLOWMOTION Friday December 28 & Saturday December 29 The Fairview Pub 898 West Broadway Vancouver BC Seattle-based groove virtuosos Flowmotion seamlessly blend funk, jazz, rock and blues with African and Latin rhythms to create a fresh, unique sound all their own. The group's live performances are renowned for their infectious, positive energy, stellar musicianship - and packed dance floors. Their recorded output garners heavy rotation with fans and casual listeners alike. Formed in 1999 on Washington State's San Juan Island, the group is a favourite of the improvisational rock scene, routinely drawing capacity college, festival and club audiences. The group's sophomore studio effort, 2005's Is That Right, showcases the quintet's fusion of styles into a heady, funky brew while suggesting things to come -- and demonstrating no small crossover appeal -- with the radio-friendly single "Wild Eyes." Flowmotion is fronted by singer-songwriter Josh Clauson, who penned much of Is That Right, also pulling lead vocal and guitar duties. Backing Clauson is Sabu Miyata, bass; Scott Goodwin, drums and backing vocals; Bob Rees, percussion and vibes; and RL Heyer, guitars and vocals. A self-proclaimed "World Funk Blender," the band is a hard-working outfit, spending nearly 200 days on the road, on average per year. This work ethic has paid dividends, garnering Flowmotion a growing corps of fans from Alaska to California and points east, many trailing the band from show to show. Since its inception the group has also hosted the yearly Flowmotion Summer Meltdown Festival, a groove-packed showcase of likeminded bands, set against the pristine backdrop of Whitehorse Mountain in Darrington, Washington. Fans and initiates alike have also scored their Flowmotion fix at other annual events such as the High Sierra Music Festival; the Oregon Country Fair and Bumbershoot, Seattle's venerable end-of-summer arts and music bash. On tour Flowmotion has made the marquee at such venues as Portland, Oregon's Crystal Ballroom; Seattle's Showbox Theater; and even California's infamous Folsom Prison. Other stops include Boulder Colorado's Fox Theater, the Bear's Tooth Theatre in Anchorage, Alaska and San Francisco's Boom Boom Room. Testimony to the group's crossover appeal, Flowmotion has appeared on stage with such luminaries as Widespread Panic, G-Love & Special Sauce, and the legendary Michael Franti and Spearhead, to name but a few. Solid songwriting, formidable improvisational chops and irresistible rhythms... GO WITH THE FLOW! "The five-piece Flowmotion delivers enticing grooves and rhythms guaranteed to keep any audience in motion. The band's instrumental work sparkles with originality and flows with precision and purpose. It's been awhile since I've played a new disc so many times in such a short space of time." ~ Mick Skidmore, Relix Magazine "The band unifies crowds with its vocal melodies, harmonies and stellar rhythm section. It moves seamlessly through original compositions with a liberating mixture of world-funk, jam-rock and sweet ballads that beg total abandonment of self." ~ John Larson, Tacoma Weekly $10 admission at the door - Doors at 9:00 pm music & video at: www.myspace.com/flowmotionmusic Official Site www.flowmotion.net IMO these guys are the best new band in our scene... and these 2 shows are gonna be EPIC!!!
