I'm not a card-carrying fan of any team, but I love Calgary's game. I grew up in the 70's and early 80's as a giant Bruins fan. Unfortunately, they repeatedly build-up and then destroy their team.

I mentioned to Booche that Smyth could sign with the Isles because of Teddy Nolan. He's a class A coach and an intense but likeable leader.

Danny Marks has hosted an open jam every Monday at The Silver Dollar. I believe Grossman's still has an open jam on Tuesday nights. The Rex has an open jam for jazz. The cats that play there are serious players... and I mean hardcore jazzers. There are plenty of open mic nights spread out through the city. I'll be playing at Spirit's Bar & Grill this Sunday night.
