good to see some original Woodstock performers on this, (Dead & Co of course) but also Country Joe, Canned Heat, Santana...
Although Canned Heat are sans leaders (and lead vocalists) Al Wilson and The Bear. At least The Zombies will be with Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone.

Earl teed-up Jimi, Clapton, Beck, and the rest (he's even playing with his teeth on this nasty song):

There was a huge big-ass video camera following him around with a scary white light. That shocked me to my soul and that is why I remember the entire moment.
I was lucky to get a selfie with him, with a digi-camera, simply because I was wasted enough to think about trying.......this was pre-cellphone era but there is 'other' footage out there. Those fuckers were annihilated and did not play at all like they had for the show we bought concert tickets for and they werent playing their show material, it was other stuff. They were filming it. That is why I want to see it. I certainly dont want to see me because I was fucked the fuck up.

If any other killer live band is worthy of hijacking a King Gizzard thread, it's the late-great TSOOL.

Bet the have this tour booked for Bluesfest:
It would be awesome if Heart reformed the old original band featuring their great lead guitarist Roger Fisher and occasional lead player and keyboardist Howard Leese.

I believe camping there won't be an option, but I'm not sure. If you had an easy way to and from the gig, it would be worth going since it is nice up there, but it's basically a big field in the woods.

No, it's that and getting the hell out and home in a relatively painless time-frame, which will be unlikely to impossible (but my coworker thinks the organizers may try to close off surrounding concession roads to act as feeders, which could lesson the pain). The route out will be jammed since there's really only one way out, and then one highway to and from the field. There is no way to get there but by car (no public transit), and everyone will be drinking, so I can't imagine there won't be long police checks.

Really a tough place to get out of after a show, with access to only one exit fed by one highway. Fine with small shows, but a living nightmare for big ones, and this one will be the biggest yet there.

Having said that, no pressure 😉
I get it if you cant do this show. When I went to see you in TO for Soundtrack Of Our Lives neither of us were thinking we would ever become fathers. Times/responsibilities have changed.
Having said that, where is the footage from the after party? 100 percent they got a close up of me on camera. That shit was lit and I was a Christmas tree ;-)
"We would like to thank you for all the hash you have provided. You Canadians know how to party!"
You took the selfie close-up picture of you and Ebbot. I don't know if there's footage of the aftershow @ The Elmo, but there must be other photos floating around. I chatted with guitarist Mattias for quite a while and he promised and delivered "Mantra Slider". Maybe I can go to Montreal, but I'll have to try my luck getting a ticket down the road.

They are playing the horrendous Burl’s Creek Event Grounds, Oro Medonte, near Orillia.

I have their first record. They definitely love The Yardbirds and electric blues, etc. I heard they broke up last year, unfortunately.
