Actually, the order of the Ice Cube/Our Lady Peace gig isn't a scheduling mishap, it's a stroke of genius. Rogers is carrying the Indians-Jays game for free on one of their PPV-HD channels. Anyway, it's the Cleveland broadcast and listening to them makes it even more obvious how horrid our broadcasters are, especially Jamie "I look like Johnny Whitaker and call a game like Fergie Oliver" Campbell. There really isn't a sports bar in the area - although there's tons of pubs. Spirit's (where my wife works located at Church & Bloor) shows sports exclusively on their many new HD-TV's. The sound won't go up unless you sit at the bar and ask. However, like all pubs, the servers (not including my wife) don't know shit about setting the TVs to HD-channels. You can talk them through though.
