Everything that I've heard from Jose doesn't sound like Jack. If it did, I'd hate him. I'll give you Damien Rice though... he I like a great deal. I also hear some Simon and Garfunkel.
I wish that the other website that I write for would actually get around to posting my review of the John Henrys Sweet as the Grain. I loved it. Check this band out if you can, especially for fans of 70's cosmic country of the Gram Parsons/Byrds vein.
