well.. Dreamweaver certainly is the best of the lot for WYSIWYG editors.. and unfortunately I can't help with offering any other alternatives.. but if you want advice on good HTML text editors I can help you out there

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by a "frontpage" or "mozilla-style" editor. Do you mean a WYSIWYG editor? (WYSIWYG stands for What You See Is What You Get and is an editor that allows you not to know any HTML what so ever.. you use standard text editing type tools like you find in Word and it generates all the code for you behind the scenes)

As you may or may not know local funksters The Pejoratives have a regular Thursday night gig at The Clocktower . Tonight they are adding some guests to the mix for a full funk blowout. The confirmed guests are Brad Alford of Donkey Punch , Matt Ouimet of Hyulp , Adam Bell of The Crowd , and myself. There are some unconfirmed guests as well so we'll see what happens tonight. The Clocktower is at the corner of Bank and Pretoria, right by The Queensway. The gig is free and is downstairs. Also, the hockey game will be on all the TVs, so don't feel like you have to choose one or the other.

Dr. Lonnie Smith is pretty exciting too!

a friend of mine has set up a site called FanConcert ( www.fanconcert.com ) he's trying to build a social network site for music lovers. A place where you can find out when your favourite bands are playing and where, and even if they are releasing a new album. It is in the public beta stage right now, but you can join up and be part of the community, adding gigs and venues and bands and such. Right now it's more community driven but Ryan is looking into sourcing feeds so that content is updated automatically as well as through community involvement. I think it's a pretty cool idea and I hope Ryan can make a go of it, so as many people who can join up and get the community going and the word out about the site the better. Anyway.. there ya go.

So I don't know if it has been mentioned yet or not, but the gig on Saturday, with Inglewood Jack opening (BradM's band), well, that's the night before BradM's 40th birthday (I'm sure no one will be surprised to find out that BradM is an April Fool's baby So, not only will March 31st be a night of killer grooves, but an opportunity for everyone to show their love for one of this board's most active members! Oh yeah, as BradM keeps reminding me, it's also the anniversary of the night that Nero got Dekcuf to change their taping policy from no taping to pro taping. As an avid taper I think that might be BradM's biggest reason for celebration this Saturday One last request, please don't buy him litres of alcohol until after Inglewood Jack plays, thank you
