I wasn't at the show but does anyone else find it strange the way they use Mick Taylor? He seems to come on for a song, go backstage for a bit, come out for another song, etc. If he's on tour with them why not sit in for the whole show? I guess maybe because he only plays on songs which he recorded with the Stones? I dunno, just seems a little weird to me.

As important as a marinade is to a good piece of grilled meat it's always something I just throw together without much though, often resulting in less than satisfying food. We were at Home Depot today and noticed some heirloom tomato plants in their garden centre. Bought 2 each of brandywine and rainbow blend. That seed place looks awesome though... so many varieties! Is there a store front or just mail order?

It's a good thing Brandon Prust didn't say anything stupid during the series. Really fortunate that Josh Georges didn't shoot a puck directly at Kyle Turris' back. Very thankful that René Bourque didn't throw any elbows and that Brendan Gallagher didn't try to instigate any garbage fights. Oh wait. Although to be honest I didn't like MacLean's Pat Quinn impersonation very much. But I'll take that type of leadership over Mr. "Our captain was crying in my arms" any day of the week.

It was great listening to Bob Cole choke his way through that last 10 minutes or so. He's a Habs apparently. So satisfying. God he was brutal. I think he called Gonchar "Karlsson" all night.
