  1. I'll third the recommendation for Sprint. OEM Express is also really good (and cheap).
  2. An amazing time even though I was nearly crippled in Baltimore the week before. The joys of late night police car searches and no health insurance.
  3. No problem. Glad you got a couple. They were actually sold out by 11.
  4. Sean, Guy Burwell just released an amazing Hold Steady poster for their July 27th show in Portland. An edition of 90 and only $25. Here's the link.
  5. Go to this site and spend the next month reading.
  6. I'll take the July 5th ticket if you haven't sold it yet.
  7. The list looks good. How Luke Doucet and the White Falcon - Blood's Too Rich didn't make it is beyond me.
  8. 1. Lipstick on your collar - Connie Francis - Mom 2. Paul Simon - Loves Me Like a Rock - Mom 3. Kenny Rogers - Lucille - Dad 4. Boy from New York City - Manhattan Transfer 5. Bobby Day - Rockin Robin - Dad 6. You Can Call Me Al-Paul Simon (Dad, and not sung well). 7. Blackbird - Beatles 8. 9. 10. 11. 12.
  9. #338 Songs by Canadian jambands that are currently broken up (playing once a year doesn't count...) 1. j'moor - The New Shady Groove 2. Fists of Funk - P.F. Station 3. Something With Feeling - Freeway Band 4. Horses - Rheostatics 5. Gypsy Sol - Leakin' Out The Bottom 6. Slamming Jack - Eat More Pie 7. Slow Nerve Action - Chewin 8. Hiway Freeker - The Shark (of E.J. Pratt) 9. Days of You - Traveller's Blues 10. 11. 12.

    IRON MAN

Ang Lee's Hulk was disappointing but I have high hopes for Ed Norton as Bruce Banner. Hopefully more character development and less Hulk smash. Look for an Avengers movie in 2011.
  12. John Henry's are great. My favourite Ottawa band right now is probably The Reverb Syndicate. The Tummies are OK but that Mung is a real bastard.
  13. You forgot one: Shogun Warriors >> Micronauts >>Transformers
  14. We took our daughter to Bonnaroo in 2002 when she was about 4 months old. We had no problems. Kept her well hydrated, shaded, ear plugs, etc. Also, my wife and I stayed sober for the weekend and crashed relatively early, basically making our daughter's comfort top priority. We spent more time taking care of the sunburned, spun out wooks camped next to us.
  15. No children's area to speak of but there is plenty of green space on the festival grounds for them to run around particularly at the Black Sheep stage.
  16. To the best of my recollection: Eagles - Life in the Fast Lane or Beatles - Hey Jude
  17. Can't wait for the show; just bought a big bottle of bourbon in preparation. BradM, are you going to be taping?
  18. Thanks for the post, Alabama. Great song. The new album has fully infected me, just like all the previous ones. Can't wait for the Montreal show. Conan seemed to really dig it.
  19. I recommend DVD Shrink Edit to add: this is only for backing up DVD movies and probably not what you are looking for. I apologize for being useless and wasting your time.
  20. We're going to the Montreal show (and I'm working on bagochips as well). As has been mentioned already, get The Dirty South first, followed by Southern Rock Opera, and explore from there. I'm not particularly sold on the new album yet but I haven't given it enough attention.
  21. Peace Lizard and I hit up the Metropolis show in Montreal. Truly a phenomenal night of music. All 45's just like the Brainfreeze and Product Placement tours.
