  1. I'm going with the corn flakes thing. Sloth- breakfast is on me after phish.
  2. Depends what kind of food they like- TO has some of the best ethnic food around. Chinese, Japanese/sushi, Korean, good tacos, Indian, Italian or anything else you could want. Great lunches include all the great Korean noodle joints, La Porchetta for a killer sammy, plus there are so many good patios, Staying close to the show for dinner, check out Ossington or Roncey. Tons of wicked good eats around there- as well as Parkdale for funky/trendy/TASTY eats.
  3. No strike- this week had been crazy (I am a wine rep)! Sales have been pretty epic this week but I could do with out the drama.
  4. The "cottage" I'm at is fully set up. 8 burner stove- two ovens two dishwasher plus outdoor kitchen. The crew are all foodies but I have to think of the kiddies as well. A few quiches might be a good idea. Maybe just make a bunch of egg wraps with some options.
  5. We are heading to a friend's cottage up north. I'm in charge of a breakfast for a crew of 12 plus kids. Any ideas of something I can make that will feed a large group that won't keep me in the kitchen for the whole morning?
  6. So... does anyone want to buy any cases of wine? I know a guy.
  7. Pretty sure the beer stores in Ontario will still be open.
  8. I've had lunch there a few years ago but haven't followed up. Always looking for good spots in the west. My favourite place closed down (bc of a divorce- not food quality) and I really don't have a new spot. I've been doing K&B which is an all you can eat place. It's pretty good and fresh but doesn't wow me. Japango in Toronto is one of the better places I've tried recently. It's small and busy.
  9. Pretty great show. Great stage production and musicianship. Muse walks a fine line between epic and cheese. When they cross that line (to my ears) it makes me cringe. Lots of radio hits I didn't like in the past won me over last night, but with a few cheese/cringe-worthy moments. One of the best arena rock bands out there for sure. Totally worth checking out if you have the chance. I still won't be listening to them often, but I would go see them again.
  10. Thanks Booche. That's just what I need to get me pumped.
  11. I had some tickets drop in to my lap at the last minute so I'm going to check out Muse tonight at the ACC. I was not a big fan of what I have heard on the radio but I love the song Madness. I've heard they put on a hell of a show so I figure it is worth checking out. It seems like their fans are pretty devoted. Has anyone seen them before? Thoughts on the experience? I'm heading in with an open mind and hoping to be blown away. Should be quite the spectacle.
  12. Damn, missed all this action! Just getting home from work now. Hoping I can find a re-re with these prices.
  13. Trade is done. Thanks phunkyb!
  14. Cool phunkyB. If I can't find a decent trade then I will for sure help you out. Rather see them go to someone who could use them then sell them to a stranger.
  15. I have a ton of trips planned for the summer so I will have to pass on this one. Thus the tickets for trade.
  16. I have 2 tix for BGCA Sunday that I would like to trade for 2 good Toronto pav's. 200s or pits please[color:gray]
  17. I scored a couple BGCA Sunday tix. I'm willing to trade for some good seats to Toronto.
