  1. Hey, phishtaper, is that a dog you know in your avatar or just a ridiculously cute doggy picture you found on the interweb?
  2. P.S. I have a whole filing cabinet full of old(er) devices...will likely be giving them all away over the next couple of months.
  3. Call me "Good Ol' Patchoulia" again and you'll be getting a cut on your device...
  4. I'll be taking names (& kicking ass, of course) 'til the end of day. Winner to be announced tomorrow morning.
  5. Yeah, likely Rogers only...but I know some of the devices work on both now (don't ask me which ones, I just work here.)
  6. I'm pretty sure one of the marketers at Acer is a raver and gets a giggle every time anyone says the words "Liquid E"...
  7. When I say "brand new", I mean the cellophane has never been removed - it's not a fancy new device just hitting the market. I have an Acer Liquid E in my overhead bin. I don't recall why. I sure as fuck don't need it and I'm pretty sure I won't be getting any high-level VIP requests for this particular unit. If you're interested, let me know. I'll do some sort of a raffle. Or, just give it to the person I like best.
  8. It's comments like this that illustrate just how little you truly know either of us...
  9. So - what happened? I notice this isn't 'stuck' any longer. I was hoping my good ticket karma would come back and bite me in a positive way.
  10. I think you 2 nerds are ophishally sharing 1 brain (not to mention a shit-eating grin).
  11. Perhaps the furniture delivery guy was stuck in gridlock...
  12. Dryden Police stop a vehicle at King Street and Earl Avenue. Officers searched the vehicle and found 120-grams of magic mushrooms and 6.5-pounds of marijuana worth an estimated $60,000. Two B.C. residents were charged. ---------------- Just look at that guy's face! He's soooo partaking in that haul as soon as he gets off duty...
  13. Dryden Motorists Can Soon Rejoyce! Posted by Mike Ebbeling on Wednesday, October 6th, 2010 am 11:56:00 AM The day's of sitting in gridlock at the Dryden Underpass are almost over. Manager of Capital Planning and Technology Blake Poole says the Duke Street Overpass is set to open on-schedule next Friday. (October 15th) Poole says some paving and sandblasting remains. After that, Poole says the contractor will be in clean-up mode. Poole says the project has run smoothly. -------------------- That's some exceptional journalism... 1. Rejoyce?? Is that like someone named Joyce, who arrives a 2nd time? 2. 'Day's' - Oh dear. 3. I love the reference to 'gridlock' - the alternate route to the blocked underpass to which they're referring would be the overpass - which is approximately 5 minutes down the road.
  14. Sad. http://www.glidemagazine.com/hiddentrack/in-memorium-t-lavitz-1965-2010/ http://www.tlavitz.net/
  15. 2. He's never had a jalapeno popper - and that's the only thing currently on his Bucket List.
  16. I've seen them a few times - the Massey Hall show from several years ago was quite enjoyable!
