Damien Cox is a giant douchebag. Of course leaf fans don't like him. People get the idea that he likes the leafs and is positive towards them but he says just as many outlandish and negative things about the leafs as any team. That is his schtick though and he thinks his job is to get people all upset.

Awful first period last night. Good thing they came on the rest of the game and got a point out of it but really you can't be loose games against teams below you in the standings. Pretty crazy how well lupul has worked out from Toronto. He has been flying that past couple games for the leafs.

What is wrong with the Canadians so far this year? I know they have injuries and its early but was watching some of the game last night and they looked awful. I am sure they can turn it around but is it coaching or the players that were put together by the gm?

Not to mention Jake Gardner. Only twenty years old and such a good young puck moving defenseman. He played over 28 minutes on Friday!

A great road trip! Anyone else really impressed so far with Joe Colborne? Love this saucer pass to Schenn. And Marlie's are also having a great season which is nice to see. Things are finally starting to come around in leaf land.

Joe Colborne was named AHL player of the month for October. Looking like another good trade for Burke. They now have some good prospects in the minors and good young players at the nhl level. Remember that kessel is only 24 and 21 year old jake gardner is looking like a great pick up by burke!

Ollie I think it definitely should have been a suspension. I can't believe he got nothing for that hit.
