  3. We're on the bill with the elkas band... meaning us, the elkas band, with Pete... and i'm with the Trews as well. And yeah, we (the elkas band) with Pete will be backing joel on some tunes saturday night. and of course... i always forget there's two dave marshs.

  8. Seriously, unless you're that guy who opened for the Elkas band in Ottawa at Zaphods a few years back who told us straight out that he "hates the Stones... that's kinda my thing", you'll have a good time at these Hot Rock Wednesdays. So many insanely good songs!!

  11. If you haven't seen these guys before, now'd be a good time. Absolutely killer band playing, quite legitimately, the music of the Rolling Stones all night long. Really looking forward to playing with these guys!! December 19th and 22nd @ The Dakota Tavern!

  17. I liked the monologue.... and the Lincoln bit was a little funnier to me because, for some unknown fuckin reason, I watched Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter the night before. I blame SNL. Louie's great. And yeah, Fun was shit. They confused and made me angry at the same time.
  18. These guys are great.... killer players, very entertaining and a guaranteed good time. They're also pretty much the current incarnation of The Hawks, backing Ronnie Hawkins for the past few years. Sam Weber is one of my favourite guitarists out there right now...
  19. They're at the drake... Look them up... they're fuckin amazing. I'm seeing them three times this weekend... they're that great. Highly highly recommended.
