Del Posted April 4, 2004 Report Share Posted April 4, 2004 Just saw this, looks like a fantastic show to have been at: 04/01/04 The Garage, Glasgow, Set I: Think Of What You've Done1, Big Sciota1, Work1, Barstool1, Birdland1 2, Panama Red1, Nine Pound Hammer1, Windy Mountain3, Wake Up3 Set II: Shantytown> Dirk, 100 Year Flood> Bigger Isn't Better4> Water, Daryl4, Love Me Tender5, On The Road 1 Acoustic and all request 2 After Birdland the band said "We'd like to thank you all for coming and buy you all a round". You went up to the bar, showed your ticket stub and got a free drink. 3 Billy acoustic at setbreak 4 By request 5 Glasgow native on stage singing An all acoustic set followed by a free drink? kung Posted April 4, 2004 Report Share Posted April 4, 2004 I don't really know all of those songs and obviously I'm not fond of the band but that does look like a good show. All of the requests is cool and buying the audience a drink is definitely cool. Have you ever heard that Big Sciota is about Nova Scotia, it's sort of an afro celt number as I recall- pretty if not really rare for them.
