RUSTLE Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 saw a similar list on coventryphish.com but thought i would get one going here... they're a good reminder for stuff we may have looked over. here is my list (in no particular order) - tickets - ID - tent - blankets / sleeping bags - lantern / flashlight - two coolers - water jug - sunscreen and bug spray - rain gear - tarp - beer - fruit / snacks (planning to buy hot meals, cooking is a super-hassle) - camera (digital / 35 mm / video) - us $ - folding chairs - frisbee - radio - wet ones / purell - tp - biodegradable soap - portable camp shower - hat - shoes / socks - warm clothes / toque
bradm Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 I'll probably have most of that list, but also: - duct tape Aloha, Brad
c-towns Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 portable camp shower Hahahahahahahhahaha, what a joke, must be some sort of beer funnel....
Tickler Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 travel insurance?? anyone bringing a poop tent? I am not, I figure those shot thrones are part of the experience!
RUSTLE Posted August 9, 2004 Author Report Posted August 9, 2004 i think the "poop tents" are a little much. i can understand for the ladies, but fellas? shiiiiit. just get up early and watch for the cleaning crews, grab a freshly vac'd/hosed out unit and smash... would rather not deal with a bucket full of sh!t at the end of the weekend.
bradm Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 One thing I like to have almost everywhere, but especially on long trips and at festivals is chewing gum (I like Excel Winterfresh, in the navy blue package). Aside from its mouth-freshening, it can also give you a non-stimulant pick-me-up. Aloha, Brad
TimmyB Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 travel insurance?? I would if I were you. If anything happens to you and you do not have insurance, then you are surely f*%ked. If you had to go to an american hospital overnight for whatever reason, without insurance be prepared to play thousands of dollars for your stay. I myself have health insurance through my work that covers me when I visit the United States, but if I didn't I would definitely be going to CAA to get travel insurance.
