jon.
I have altered the spelling of my band's name from ELECTRIC MEAT to ELECTRIC MEET. It seems I was getting some very dubious reactions to the former spelling. Some people felt that it referred to violent things...jesus!! So do ya'll think that ELECTRIC MEET is softer??? After all we are a jamband not a punk band. let me know. Jon

CatPhish
How about Electric Melt? maybe that is too much of a change and it kinda brings some risky imagies to mind I like E-Meet.
MarcO
I say stick with "Meat". "Meet" is too passive, go for what garners attention. Just my $0.02.
Schwa.
How's about "Eclectic Meet"?
Vermontdave
I think you should stick with 'meat', it goes better with electric potatos. 'meet' makes it sound like you're a hippy at some sort of track event or somethin. come to think of it, they're both pretty good.

Spudly
Along that vein, my buddy's band just changed their name, and so consequently their previous band name is now free for the taking..... "Beef Groovy" Their saying was...."It's beefy......It's groovy!" Much better than Electric Meat.....But you guys better be worthy of this name if you are going to take it! Incidently my buddy's band wasn't groovy at all....more of a cross between Blue Rodeo and Honeymoon Suite.....
Woolner
Impeach Bush! oh..you wanted an opinion about your band name.... Electric Meat is a great name. dont change it. boo to those nay-sayers
weezy
Meet is better, but to be honest I don't really like either spelling. It sounds like the title of a porno movie. How about just E-Meet and you can leave people guessing what the E stands for.

Weirdness
A more offensive name will stick better in people's heads and after they hear your music and find out that you aren't a bunch of sick fucks, than you're in! -"Boy honey, you're meat was sure electric tonight" -"Why thank you, dear". I love it already.
