shainhouse Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 (edited) It's £10 (ABOUT $24) and it's a 30 minute bus ride away (in Bradford, home of the world's best curry house)... still, if I get liquored up, they'll definitly encourage the laquering down...any thoughts? Del Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 Go... How often to you get to see Gwar? I'd see them if I had a chance...
Stapes Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 yes. Were clothes you don't care about though. Their shows can be messy.
Gr8FuL Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 Definetley go, it'll be an experience for sure!! At the least, you'll have some intense stories for people or your crazy GWAR experience
StoneMtn Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 Go!!! I saw them a few months back, and wrote a review on jambands.ca. You might want to check it out. Here's a link: http://www.jambands.ca/sanctuary/showpost.php?post/186015/hl/GWAR/ Seriously, go. And don't worry about your clothes. The red and green goo that they shoot into the audience washes right out. It will be an experience, if nothing less.
Steve from Cleveland Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 I'd say go see them. If nothing else, just for the spectacle... I have seen them once, and it was an unforgettable experience... I second the wear clothes you don't care about, although the dye does wash out, rips/tears of clothing are a common occurrence as well. I wasn't particularly impressed with the music, per se, but the show was 'entertaining' to say the very least... S/C
Del Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 I think Satan needs a smaller picture as his signature...
Tenenbaum Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 to this day, one of the best shows I've ever seen was Gwar at the concert hall in '93! These guys are messed up and know how to put on a crazy live show!; it'll be like nothing you've seen before; aesthetically you'll get something out of it, even if you don't dig thrash metal.
