Should I Go See GWAR?

It's £10 (ABOUT $24) and it's a 30 minute bus ride away (in Bradford, home of the world's best curry house)... still, if I get liquored up, they'll definitly encourage the laquering down...

any thoughts?

And don't worry about your clothes. The red and green goo that they shoot into the audience washes right out.

I'd say go see them. If nothing else, just for the spectacle... I have seen them once, and it was an unforgettable experience... I second the wear clothes you don't care about, although the dye does wash out, rips/tears of clothing are a common occurrence as well. I wasn't particularly impressed with the music, per se, but the show was 'entertaining' to say the very least...

to this day, one of the best shows I've ever seen was Gwar at the concert hall in '93! These guys are messed up and know how to put on a crazy live show!; it'll be like nothing you've seen before; aesthetically you'll get something out of it, even if you don't dig thrash metal.
