I wasn't planning on it but my friend poutine picked up an extra for me! I'm checking out the last show, on April 28. (What's the Danforth Music Hall like??) I'm looking forward to it. Its surprising how HUGE they seem to have become within about the last year. Edited April 19, 2005 by Guest it just felt right
M Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 I'll be at the one on the 27th... should be a lovely one. A friend of mine recently saw them play in NYC and had a "DB" sandwich as he referred to it... on his left - David Byrne - on his right - David Bowie. Then Byrne went up and sang Naive Melody w/ them. They are excellent... one of my favorite albums of last year.

Esau Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 ...has anyone ever seen a show at the danforth music hall?Saw Gov't Mule there.I liked the venue, sound was good and it seemed you could see everything from anywhere in there, although we were originally in row g on the floor and eventually made it to the front row (thanks bouche) didnt appear to be anything that would obstruct your view. The staff was solid, pretty friendly and non intrusive.I'd love to see more shows there that I'm interested in.Enjoy.
phunkyb Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 I'm going on the 26th. Saw them at Sneaky Dee's and the Rivoli. This is going to be the biggest venue I have seen them in, can't wait! One of my favorite bands of the year!
