CyberHippie Posted April 20, 2005 Report Posted April 20, 2005 Can't denigh that there are some damn fine albums on that list. I'm going to keep a copy of that handy, definitely some on there I still need to get.
d_rawk Posted April 20, 2005 Report Posted April 20, 2005 They've done that peculiar thing where they slyly turn a "popular favourites of the moment" poll into a "greatest albums of all time" list. Definately a lot of great ones on there though.Being a British poll, I'm surprised that there's no love for T REX - Electric Warrior.
Kaidy Mae Posted April 20, 2005 Report Posted April 20, 2005 Pet Sounds at 33!?!? Those crazy Brits! I think it would be impossible for me to ever decide with confidence on what I thought to be the best album EVER. But OK Computer is certainly one of my all time favourites. Climbing Up the Walls has got to be one of the most amazing songs ever written. The art work is incredible on this album too. Quite inspiring.
fluffhead77 Posted April 20, 2005 Author Report Posted April 20, 2005 Injustice #2 28. Abba - the arrival85. Paul Simon - Graceland
PhishyK Posted April 20, 2005 Report Posted April 20, 2005 That's the Brits for you, though... Radiohead better than DSOTM? LOLRadiohead wouldn't even exist without DSOTM!
Boochawan Posted April 20, 2005 Report Posted April 20, 2005 yeah, 84. PAUL SIMON - Graceland...defenitly to low on the "list" (it's in the top 3 on mine). It's so hard to rate these type of things anyway without putting them into the context in to which they were released
SaggyBalls Posted April 20, 2005 Report Posted April 20, 2005 i'm more suprised miles davis' kind of blue isn't on there...there are some awe4some albums on that list. it's pretty solid, but i'm sure we can find better replacements - if you wnt to get picky.
ggrtrhhrtgg Posted April 20, 2005 Report Posted April 20, 2005 Have to say in my opinion, the music scene I came across in the UK facking sucked. Radiohead is decent but best album ever?? Can't agree with that... and Oasis, facking make me puke. Anyhow, that's my opinion of the day.
