I like how they did in that Alpine '89 run - 1989-07-17 - which is a great first set at any rate (also released as Downhill from Here). I remember another one that took them into drums from I think the same summer, but I can't recall which show exactly. Oh, wait, 1989-04-06 - (I do love the Archive) (that show also has the most ass-kickin' Hammond swell in Around and Around, but I guess that's neither here nor there, unless it can be turned to romantic ends...). That was my very first show! I was dragged there, kicking and screaming as a young punk-rocker, by my friend Mark.
