Rock Star: INXS

Anyone seen this show? I just saw it for the first time last night... I keptflipping between that and "So you think you can dance?" First time watching both those, and for some reason I found myself strangely captivated...

I would be watching INXS, and then think "Oh, I wonder who thinks they can dance?" And then watch that for a while snf then think "Ooooh, I wonder what's up with the INXS show!" Etc...

After all the sheer mental exhaustion of trying to keep up with both of these shows, I called it a night and turned in...

I have actually watched most of Rockstar I must admit. It's good that they sing rock songs unlike any of those Crap Idols. This week was good because they were all asked to write their own songs. In the end only 2 of the 6 got sing their songs the others got to sing classics like Start Me up, Dream On, I can't remember what else. There are some really talented peeps on the show I think. Also up until last night there were 3 Canadians still in it (girl from Kingston got cut), which I think is pretty cool. I don't think I have ever really listened to INXS but the show itself makes me a little bit interested in what they are doing. I think Marty should win it.

I've been wrapped up in the INXS show for a while now, although I missed it last night. It's pretty good, goes by pretty fast. My gf thinks Marty should win it, but I think he should lose because I think she's in love with him. I like that Mig dude, he nailed "Baby I Love Your Way", and I kinda have a crush on the cute girl with the crazy dready-hair.

The dude from Nova Scotia is a pain in the ass though. What a knob!

I can't watch the INXS show. I hated them with Michael Hutchins, so why would INXS be better now with one of those loser singers?

I think it's a pretty good show. At least most of them have some "real" talent (compared to those awful idol shows)

INXS is desperate. The surviving members know that they can't regain chart success legitimately, so they have to rely on this gimmick to propel themselves into a B type spotlight. Their career was even in the decline when Hutchins died.

This show makes me laugh...it is entertaining for sure, Dave N. is such a freak...just a couple of thoughts 1) INXS is not going to pick a female singer (the change would be too much for the fan(s)) 2) The guys from INXS are washed up...come on, these guys are going nowhere fast!! It is nice to watch that smoking hot host (did you see the skirt that she had on a couple weeks back! WOW!!!)

oh I agree. I think winning a spot as INXS frontman will be great when you find yourself playing at the Atlantic City Casino for a 3 week run in the lounge, but I don't watch the show for INXS. No, I watch it for Brooke Burke's juicy, ample, ripe, tasty titties.

Like I said, I just started watching it... I think VH1 plays the re-runs, though. I agree that INXS isn't going to pick one of the ladies... I think the mohawk-dude should win, just based on what I saw last night... Marty wasn't bad, but there was something about him that irks me.

As I said earlier, I really could care less about the actual band INXS, but the peeps trying out do interest me because they do actually have talent.

I love this show and have seen every episode. (No surprise, eh Andre?) I think Mig has been the pre-determined winner from the start. It just makes sense to have an Australian singer so that when they bomb in North America they'll have their hometown market, which is fairly decently sized, to fall back on.

I want Dave Navarro's drugs.
