can-o-phish Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 I am so keen for this! Burton is F-U-N!!!
CookieMonster Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 Meeee toooo! Everything Tim Burton does is gold
bouche Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 i'm probably off to the theatre for this one. Nightmare before Christmas is one of my fav movies.
can-o-phish Posted August 31, 2005 Author Report Posted August 31, 2005 Sandy-Claws is classic! Big screen is a must for something like this. The animation is stunning. And the way Burton & Depp work off of each other, the dialogue is bound to be crafted to a T.
bouche Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 the new movie looks like CG however mimicking the style of the stop-motion animation from Nightmare. Is Corpse Bride CG?
Mr. Photogeek Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 the new movie looks like CG however mimicking the style of the stop-motion animation from Nightmare. Is Corpse Bride CG?Nope...the same guy who did the stop-motion in Nightmare (Mike Johnson) is doing it again for Corpse Bride. As far as I know there is no CG (Maybe backgrounds and things like that though?)mike
Lazlo Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 Meeee toooo! Everything Tim Burton does is gold  Even the Batmans?
can-o-phish Posted August 31, 2005 Author Report Posted August 31, 2005 Yes, of course the first two Batmans. They had Burton's "dark side" stamped all over them. Jack as The Joker? Perfect fit though Keaton...I dunno...
Lazlo Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 Keaton was the best Batman out of the three. Kilmer was by far the worst and Clooney was so-so.The movies were just to fuckin' weird, unbelievable even. I found them really hard to watch.
can-o-phish Posted August 31, 2005 Author Report Posted August 31, 2005 Yes, Keaton was the best Batman out of the three, no question. The weirdness, that's all Burton. Everything from Beatlejuice to Sleepy Hollow have very creepy, dark undertones occuring constantly.
Lazlo Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 But Beatlejuice and Sleepy Hollow are watchable.
