Creaking Tree String Quartet @ Beer Fest

For those that didn't know, this weekend is the Capital City Beer Festival here in Ottawa. It runs Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday, in the same location as last year: Festival Plaza, at Elgin & Laurier.

For those who were considering going to the Black Sheep Inn on Saturday night for the Bob Dylan Project / Creaking Tree String Quartet show, note that CTSQ is playing the beer festival on Sunday afternoon; they're scheduled from 4:30pm to 5:15pm (the full schedule is here; note that CTSQ is mis-labeled as "The Creaking Trees"; I e-mailed the band to confirm that it is in fact CTSQ).

Thus, my schedule for the weekend looks like:

• Friday night: nero / Hiway Freeker at the Black Sheep
• Saturday night: Dr. Huxtable / Jiva Ju at Bayshore Park
• Sunday afternoon/night: beer festival (before and through dinner) with CTSQ
