bradm
Had anybody else heard about this? Blues legend Johnny Winter, along with David Gogo, is listed as playing Capital Music Hall on Saturday, Dec. 10. Unfortunately, this conflicts with the James McKenty And The Spades / The John Henrys show at Mavericks, otherwise, this might be a good one to see.Aloha,Brad
Jaimoe
Everyone should see Johnny at least once. He is one of the great white blues guitarists ever. He may move slowly, but he never plays slow.
peipunk
I saw Johnny Winter in January 2000 at the House of Blues in Chicago, and to be honest, I can't believe he's still alive, let alone doing gigs. He looked like a stiff breeze would knock him over. A living legend, to be sure, I was glad I did see him.
Freak By Night
I saw Johnny in 1998 at the Ottawa bluesfest and the roadies were practically propping him up from behind. I caught him at Barrymore's in 1987 and that was an awesome (although short) show.
