bONES Posted June 22, 2003 Report Posted June 22, 2003 well, i have to be honest...when i first read the heading for this post, i thought it said New Edition licks veggie burgers...but i have had at least 9 beers and 6 spliffs in me in the last few hours so... reminded me of hearing New Edition rehearse Candy Girl?? a few weeks ago in Chattanooga... you got it folks, NE is back (minus Bobby Brown) don't miss `em...i know i will

rubberdinghy Posted June 22, 2003 Report Posted June 22, 2003 Lick's = Blech!!! Went last night...Absolutely horrendous...They are slowly making the list...
reba Posted June 22, 2003 Report Posted June 22, 2003 we just got back from a&p and tom tom is putting them on the barbie at this moment. i got the veggie and he got the meat ones....mmmmmmmmmm
rubberdinghy Posted June 22, 2003 Report Posted June 22, 2003 Now the Works...There's a real burger joint...If you only knew the love!
paisley Posted June 23, 2003 Report Posted June 23, 2003 as far as veggie burgers go, you definately can't beat Lick's and if this Food Basics thing works out you soon won't be able to beat my barbeque!!
bouche Posted June 23, 2003 Report Posted June 23, 2003 Lick's does not make the burgers locally anymore. I guess they are a big chain now, and their burgs are shipped in. That also allows for them to sell the burgs at A&P and stuff. I think the quality may have dropped a tad, but the last BBQ pack I picked up was still KILLER. Try the Works in the Vanier area sometime, you'll probably never want another Lick's burger.
