timouse
so who did you vote for?i voted green as they are the only party that even comes close to resonating with me ever since the rhino party disbanded. also, our conservative incumbent is a shoe-in so any kind of strategic voting was a bit pointless. djmelbatoast
I voted NDP. They're the only ones that have a chance against the Cons in my riding.

Blane
After a lot of thought I voted Liberal because they have a strong shot at winning my riding (they won in 2004 by a few thousand votes over the Bloc), that said, I'm going to be donating a few bucks to both the NDP and Greens to offset the money my vote would have brought them, since I believe in their cause (since they don't really stand any chance of winning the riding). I think I'm able to feel ok about myself with that decision.

djmelbatoast
The federal and provincial NDP are two very different things.Provincially the BC Liberals are akin to the Federal Conservatives and the BC NDP are all about big unions but the rest of their policies are akin to the federal Liberals.Don't paint them with the same brush, please. ollie
I voted for Mauril "The Thrill" Bélanger (Liberal). Not strategic since my riding has been red since the recorded history of time. I just wanted the satisfaction.

Yeah, interesting to note that former NDP BC premier Ujjal Dosanjh is now a Liberal cabinet minister. BC is an odd duck, and without a Conservative presence provincially, the Liberal party has taken the Con stance (Gordon Campbell) and the NDP has taken the Liberal stance (formerly Dosanjh, who now is a federal Liberal)
