\/\/illy Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 I didn't notice the Bubblehouse tease and it's my favourite song.
Velvet Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 They totally teased Bubblehouse out of the Fire jam at the end of the set. C'mon, somebody back us up here...anybody?!?

snarfmaster C Posted June 27, 2003 Report Posted June 27, 2003 besides the oppressive heat and crowded space that was a good time. my first mmw show and i'm thinkin it won't be a last. much love to the universe (and others more specifically involved - you know who you are) for providing me with free passage to the show. i'm not one to put up a setlist, as i'm not familiar with most of the tunes i was thoroughly enjoying last night, but somebody back me up - - - did they not end the first set with a tease of bubblehouse? just enough to recognize the tune and take the tempo down to finish it off. i'm pretty sure... how about that second encore- i think a melodica is next on my list of musical instruments to buy. woulda been sweeter if it weren't for the constant cheers, hoots and hollers interspersed with violent ssssshhhhhhhhh!!!-ing i think the crowd did pretty well for keeping it down and listening close though - once they figured out mmw were really gonna go off with it for a bit and it wasn't just a minute jam to end the show.
la mantequilla del pollo Posted June 27, 2003 Report Posted June 27, 2003 absolutely! it was saawwweeeetttttt! thanks to Big Friendly for hooking 9 of us up with his one ticket!
mister slippery Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 there was some definite bubblehouse-ing in the fire to close set 1. jam out of fire, started to resemble b-house, but when it started to slow down as well.... "Bubblehouse" tease. no doubt.
