AD
you're taking that the wrong way velvet.... snowboarding in 6 or 9 degree temps is awesome (at least in my opinion). rain sucks, but if it's not raining, grab your shorts and a t-shirt and let 'er rip.ad
bradm
Wouldn't the rain the previous day make the surface less than ideal? (I'm also assuming that Ottawa weather extends to the outlying areas where the hills are, which may not be the case.)Aloha,Brad
StoneMtn
I love riding slush. It's slow, and a serious workout for your legs, but it's fun as hell; especially if you can do it in shorts. It reminds me of slalom-waterskiing or wake-boarding, with a huge watery wake flying up behind you.Get out there Velvet. Embrace the slush.

AD
Wouldn't the rain the previous day make the surface less than ideal? for some, sure, but i'd argue that the insanely cold ottawa weather makes the riding less than ideal for the rest of the year. i'd rather ride slush than ice.it's too cold around here to get nice snow on the hills.and i agree with stonemtn, riding slush / warm soft snow is incredibly fun.ad
