bouche
Believe it or not, Alan Thicke did it all. Not just being Mr. Seaver, he also wrote 3 of probably the most catchiest tunes in TV history. I'll bet everyone here can hum these tunes right away, unless you're a little choda pup like Dima Fleck If you listen to any of these tunes, you may actually respect Alan Thicke as a jingle/songwriter. I guess it's just impressive to basically create a tune that just sticks in your head forever.Wheel Of FortuneDifferent StrokesFacts of Life If you've got any cool TV theme song trivia with examples, please share. There's something super nostalgic about classic theme songs.

TheGoodRev
That's strange, earlier today I had the random inclination to look up the Unsolved Mysteries theme song and figured I'd find some clips on YouTube. Found a couple, but nothing of great quality. Can't find it on this site either, though, bummer.
kookycanooky
that show freaked me out as a kid...remember the dude who sponaniously combusts? they find his skull has shrunk to the size of a fist but everything else is gone - the room he was sitting in is intact, of course. according to spinal tap, hundreds of people spontaneously combust each year...although it isn't widely reported... TheGoodRev
Thanks Greg, that's all I needed! Grabbed the 30-second clip from Amazon and looped it...I have a feeling it might be the makings of a new CFMU promo.

Hartamophone
That "Unsolved Mysteries" music still freaks me out. Fond memories of Wednesday nights at 8:00 on CJOH as a kid - convinced the whole time that one of the people on the show was watching me through my family's patio door. Also, when I was a DJ at a bar for a few years, I used to play the Fresh Prince theme from time to time and people would love it. Gotta love the common thread that is old school TV.
