Two David Lauzon shows in Ottawa

I just checked the Ottawa jambase listings, and noticed two events for/with David Lauzon:

First, on Friday, Sept. 30, he's listed as playing Mavericks, opening up for King Sunshine.

Second, on Saturday, Oct. 21, he's listed on the bill with The Jimmy Swift Band at Babylon. While I originally had hoped for no opener for this JSB show, so they could do two big Saturday night throw-down sets, I gotta admit: if there is to be an opener, I'm happy it's Lauzon.

And considering the show is happening about 500 steps from your place, you should go.

I recommend listening to two of their shows from May:

JSB 2006-05-26 was a big-room throwdown, pretty much a JSB dance party.

JSB 2006-05-29 was a little looser, a bit jammier, with David Lauzon along for a big chunk of the ride.
