TonyRage
Um..I couldn't get the video, but what does Kirk Cameron have to do with James Brown and the Dead?
AdamH
tonyrage, It's like this: Backstage at the Pepsi Arena during James Brown, Weir is sitting and chatting with Bootsy about the days of yore...the days when people were forthright with their intentions, understanding of the true meaning of salvation and excited about the future of mankind. So bootsy (mid bass-riff) says "Man" and proceeds to tell the Bobster that the path to salvation is paved with Brown. A hot debate ensues, fists start flying and lo and behold, seemingly out of nowhere Mr. Cameron shows up on the scene. At this point you're saying to yourself "Self, why would a lame-o like Kirk be at a James Brown Concert?". Truth be told, he didn't know why he was there either, just that a powerful spiritual force had told him he would be needed that night, in that auditorium. The rest, as they say is history. Now we jammerz are blessed to have james brown and the dead on the same bill (Bonnaroo) and if you think it's because they're both talented, think again. We have Kirk Cameron to thank for this one, and all he asks in return is that you go to Way of the Master and give your thanks and praise. Oh, and his sister has some words on the J-Dog for you too
