Guest Low Roller
Holy crap that was an intense show. I'm not capable of prolonged sentence forming right now, but just wanted to quickly mention that My Morning Jacket absolutely dominated a sold out Astoria in London tonight. Every song was off the hook... Don't have the setlist yet, but the following songs were definitely played: Wordless Chorus, Gideon, One Big Holiday, It Beats For U, What A Wonderful Man, Anytime, Deodante, The Bear, Mahgettah, Off The Record, Golden, Steam Engine, I Will Sing You Songs (?), and a couple of tunes I did not recognize. They played for about 2 hours; 2 sets, no encore. The London crowd was very appreciative to the energy that Jim James was projecting. It looks like Jim James is going back to his Cousin It look after seemingly cleaning up for the Boston Pops gigs. More review later.... what a crazy day it was.... YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAGHHHH! Guest Low Roller
It was ridiculous. I can't wait for the Okonokos DVD to come out at the end of October so that I can watch a live MMJ show again.

Jaimoe
where's the Toronto/Montreal/Ottawa dates MMJ? Where's the Canadian love?listening to At Dawn right now....You may have forgetten Josh my friend, that MMJ opened two sold out Pearl Jam shows in Toronto just a few months ago. I don't think we'll see the Jacket anytime before next summer in Ontario. However, their live album comes out in a few days and the companion live DVD will hit the stores on October 31st. Kick out the fucking jams muthafeckers!!
