I just read a great article on the mullet. It's full of classic quotes. click here

"You have to think that someone is suddenly catapulted to a different level of power when they've linked their look with the power of the mullet," he said. "You're no longer just living in your trailer park. You're living large in your trailer park."

oh, and check out this website: Mullet Junky

another great mullet site is www.mulletsgalore.com

its even got clasifications of mullets like

quote:

01. classic mullet: this specimen is a clear demonstration of a classic mullet. Note how this mullet proudly displays his exotic plumage while in a menacing stance. Classic indeed. The mesh tank-top, digital watch, silver chain, and molester mustache all add points to this fine specimen's overall look and mulletude.

My favorite has always been the Mom-mullet. I actually witnessed this beast of legend when eating at a Friendly's in Burlington. In fact it was a whole family of mullets: Mom-mullet, Pa-mullet, and Junior-mullet. Breathtaking.

I too am a humble fan of the mullet....my g/f gots me some shampoo called 'Vibrant Mullet' which smells just like 'new car'....probably the reason i've never actually used it.

Anyways on the back are some of the best mullet names I have seen in print...

MudFlap

Squirrel Pelt

Rat Tail(ok that's a common one)

and the best of all....KENTUCKY WATERFALL!

i laughed for days...

I have a problem lately with regards to mullets. Please do not think I am trying to brag, but I have been a mullet hunter fo a very long time, since the inception of mulletsgalore.com. Lately, there has been a lot of attention paid to mullets in the mainstream media (ie. news reports, articles and a brutal tv show called 'American Mullets'). This widespread attenion to the hair style can only have the effect of lessening the impact of mullets, and allowing mullets to know that they are being watched and maybe leading some to changing their hairstyle. I cannot stress enough how bad this will be. If we start losing the mullets, or if people start faking the mullet, it can only serve to water-down the hilarity of the style. Mullets may soon be required o take a hiatus like a certain band from Vermont who received a great dela of media attention back in 2000. If I do not receive my daily dose of mullet, I will go insane.

Maybe we should petition the media to stop all coverage of mullets, before we have an endangered specied on our hands.

Just say no to mainstream media coverage of the mullet.

Useless fact of the day:

In French, a mullet is known as "La Coupe Longeuil".

Longeuil being the region of Québec that has the largest white trash population in Eastern Canada.

I gotta say the one that made me laugh the most was "Business up front, party out back!"

Hey Hey Hey everybody!

Mullets. I remember them. When I was in high school I even had one for a couple of years. Happened to be at the same time that I was playing hockey. There's no way I’ll show anyone pictures though. Iv done my best to destroy any that exist.

Everybody's Different and That's OK!

y'know...the mullet is somehting that i've never had much respect for. It's funny but i kinda feel bad laughing at people because they're not the same as me...I grew up in rural Canada and although i saw a few mullets, the phenomenon is much stronger in america. I've just always found it harder to take the mullet folk as seriously because we'd never have a common ground. Too bad because they're comical to me. I bet that's not the angle mulletheads go for though...
