bokonon
I really think more bands should look in to the art of the cowbell solo and it's profound effect upon the music.

YearsAlongTheSea
"..and I'll be doing myself a disservice and every member in this band, if I don't perform the hell out of this cowbell..."
captainsunshine
I was trying to sleep one morning at Gathering of the Vibes last summer when someone decided that the world needed more cowbell.. I had been up all night and was finally settling down at about 5-5:30 am.. Someone started banging on something (was pretty sure it wasn't a cowbell, though) and everytime he/she would stop, someone at a camp across the way would yell, "More Cowbell!"And for an hour and a half, I heard this being repeated.. The banging.. Then "more cowbell".. And banging again..Amazing..Cracks me up.. Even though I was tired as shit I just kept laughing...

boiler
I was at an open mic night one night (the infamous Gypsy Jams). There was a wonderful, mellow, Acoustic Jam happening, with the usual crowd participation percussion happening, which was nice, except for the ear drum shattering cow bell being played in the most off beat fashion it could be played. [color:purple]It was great.

Band_Whore
Actually it is a little fuzzy for me. All I remember is: DD show, lots of beers, Cow Bell, and talking to a girl named Kat about how we need more of it. What a good night!
bokonon
I think I know Kat, she's a fucking rowdy barrell of monkeys, it's no wonder you two get along. She's Newrider's friend too, if that explains anything for you.
